Interesting vid, I used another app for my iPhone to create som old-looking movies - LOVE it! ;)

It seems you have some unused annotations though-looks like you have included spotlight on the left side in the black area?

@pandaen212 Thanks for pointing out a possible error. However they are functioning spotlights. At least they work for me. I use them on all my videos - usually one link for the previous video and one for the following video. You have to mouse-over to see what it links to - then click to get to the other video. It's supposed to be more subtle and less distracting than a fully visible text box.

Hallo Luci,

schöne und seltene Aufnahmen. Hat Spaß gemacht das anzusehen. Dein Kanal ist übrigens nicht schlecht und ich habe besonders die Bilder von der Algarve und Portugal genossen. Dort war ich vor vielen Jahren mit der Luftwaffe in "Beja" im Alentejo.

Am Wochenende sind wir immer zur Algarve gefahren um zu Baden und die Sonne zu genießen :-)

Die Kutsche am Anfang wirkt verblüffend echt. War es Zufall, dass sie vorbeifuhr, hast Du sie extra dorthin bestellt, oder war sie es etwa, die Dich auf die Idee mit dem Effekt gebracht hat?

@frieddrums Eine Mischung aus Zufall und Planung. Ich war gerade am Gendarmenmarkt als sie vorbeifuhr, bin dann losgelaufen und hab sie an zwei anderen Ecken "abgefangen". Das Video hatte ich schon in Planung. Genau so hab ich auch die alte Tram einfach mal "erwischt".

Sehr gut gemacht, ich wette ohne die entsprechende Information würden viele glauben das es sich tatsächlich um ein Originalvideo aus dieser Zeit handelt, da du die Motive sehr sorgfältig ausgewählt hast. Wie du schon richtig sagst, Straßenbahn und S-Bahn gab es damals schon.

@Firithfenion Vielen Dank. Da die Bahnen heute so viel moderner aussehen, ist es wahrscheinlich schwer vorstellbar, dass es die schon so lange gibt. Am beeindruckendsten finde ich, dass es schon vor 100 Jahren moeglich war Tunnel fuer die U-Bahnen unter den Staedten zu bauen. Wenn man sich das von der Perspektive der Zeit vorstellt, erinnert es an den Film Metropolis.

Mir gefällt die Stelle, wo die Tram oder später die S-Bahn durch's Bild fährt besonders - das passt ja eigentlich nicht zu dieser Zeit, und genau das macht das Video interessant.

@Sevisax Hatte auch ueberlegt, ob neue Elemente im alten Stil das interessanter machen wuerden - oder eben versuchen sich nur auf wirklich alte Dinge zu konzentrieren. Jetzt ist es eine Mischung. Die U-Bahn gibt es in Berlin uebrigens schon seit 1902, die S-Bahn unter dem Namen seit 1924 und die Tram sogar schon seit 1865 - und die Wagen, die an der Kamera vorbeifahren sind tatsaechlich historische Wagen (ich glaube von 1912).

It wasn't so easy to find the music. I wanted to put more effects on it to make it sound more like an old recording. But I ran out of time and experience. Also doesn't seem fair to the musician. So I just added the projector sound.

Btw, now I'm up in the countryside with family. But I think I will relax instead of making a video here.

@TheNewAtomicAntz Yeah, as far as I know. But there are different apps with similar effects - so probably also some for other camera phones. Last but not least you can create such effects on the computer. But this is super fun and easy and you can directly upload to YouTube from the app if you like.

@bangalorebobbel Danke. War etwas hin- und hergerissen, ob es besser waere nur wirklich alte Sachen zu zeigen - oder gerade moderne Dinge, die dann fast so aussehen als ob. Die moderne U-Bahn gehoert zur letzteren Kategorie. Aber die Strassenbahn ist zum Beispiel eine Oldtimer Tram.
