ok people, so I have a theory. Olives mother and father are in a huge fight, during this song and they admit that they still love each other, but it's all fantasy. I believe that the fight is reality. Earlier in the story it is revealed that Olives mom went to India for 9 months, so I think she cheated on the father and went there to have the baby! That's why they are fighting and that's the basis of this song!! BOOM!!

I recently directed a production if this show. The girl playing olive is fantastic. The mother could do with a more rounded tone and father with a little more depth to the tone but for high school, this is beyond fantastic. Well done!

Great performance. Olive and her mom seem to fit the characters perfectly and they are such strong confident singers. Could tell they were really into the part they were playing. The dad-good voice, just needs to be a bit stronger and beltier. Got covered up by the gals a bit here and there at parts where it was him to be heard. He should also get into character a bit more. I just didn't see it in his face or actions that her was playing her dad. Other than that, u guys were amazing!
