I remember the mid 90's in Australia and the NBA was huge.
Today not even basketballers care. It's very sad but I'd have to say the lack of quality refs and bad attitude and big egos of the players has driven the sport out of Australia completely.
No they are paid off by David Stern to give all the "Superstars" foul calls when there is no contact. The NBA has gone done hill since the 90's, too much corruption. At least the Lakers lost the game though.
