I adopted one of these dogs...Mitzie. It has been a lot of work just getting her to act like a dog but it is so rewarding. She is now just as spoiled as my other dog.
@msright425 I adopted MY dog (formerly named Boo) from the wonderful woman in this video, 11/06. We drove down from NY to get her and it was love at first sight (our previous Eskie had passed away that March). She's had some health issues - took awhile to get a definitive diagnosis of Diabetes Insipidus, but she's doing very well on holistic meds and is now nearly 8. Such a loving dog I don't regret a second of it. She gets along with all 8 of our kitties, 1 is her best pal she cuddles up with.
i hope i dont find the people responsible for what they did to these dogs... i had an american eskimo... best dog in the world!!! didn't bark alot.... just really awesome.... had to put it down cause it was getting old :( broke my heart!!! almost in tears right now because of it <:(
I really wish I could find an American Eskimo dog in my area (Lisbon, ME) who needs a very loving home. I don't have the money to buy one but undying love? Most definitely! ~ Lisa, lover of all animals
I've owned an Eskie and I cannot imagine anyone being so cruel to such a gental breed. I hope whoever is responsible for this serves some jail time. Then maybe they will get at idea of what it is like to live locked up all the time. If it were up to me I would give them solitary just for a taste of their own medicine.
What a shame for someone to have so many locked in a barn .Eskies are the most wonderful dogs to have .I hope you find forever homes for them all soon.that a lot for one foster mom to take on
that is wrong ppl doing that i have an eskimo and i think its a shame ppl do that they are great dogs and beautifull too

All my Eskies have been rescues -- Casey, Alex, Sasha, Maestro -- and all have been such darlings. Eskies are great dogs.

I'm glad someone saved them. American eskies are so loyal and smart. I have 2 already but seeing the puppies makes me want another.
