  • wooww!!! now i know that i don't know how to eat sushi, that's a great information, now eat suchi at the restauran!!

  • MAS QUE GRANDE MERDA DE VIDEO!!!

  • So like..uhm i think i have to watch the video over and over.

  • choose a handy hint and take it up your ass

  • ?????????

  • God, how many times does she pick up & put down her chopsticks! I admire her smile though when she finishes the steps- it's a sort of self-assured smile, quite kinky-as if the fish on the table is not the only 'fish' she's going to put in her mouth. Kind regards :)

  • You're never supposed to rub sticks! And you're supposed to eat a whole piece at once... Then in the step 6... OMG... you're leaving the extreme of the sticks that you use to eat on the table!! You shuld leave them on the dish, never crossed cause that's offensive... I'm sorry but I have to say that there are some many mistakes... I wouldn't say it's proper

  • Wow, eating sushi seems so carefree :D

  • This whas the badest exapel of eating i hawe sen! This is not the way of eating suchi!

  • I'm going to japan soon on business for a while, can you give me a link to a correct video since you know how?

  • Despite what people are claiming, there is no exact "right" or "wrong" way to eat it. This video just displays what is considered polite in Japan.

My only main complaint of it is that it doesn't really matter -that- much if you clear your plate or not. And don't clear your chopsticks of splinters, that IS considered terribly rude.

  • esta flaquita esta para hacerle una buena grachada :P

  • Ye your right! This vidieo is totaly wrong!

  • ahahahaha good eye lol. I didnt notice that until i saw your comment :P

  • It's so easy to offend the chef :)

  • pow ninguem fala minha lingua ai não é???rsrsrsrs!!!!!

  • o,o

  • mm.. sushi.. me like.. to puke on it, lolmao XP

  • I like the way they explained everything, and I can say it's easy to understand even for non-native English speakers like me.

  • the best part its at 0:00

  • whats next? how to eat a slice of pizza?

  • Why do you post the pizza comment on every sushi video?

  • because i want? anyway, why the hell are you watching so many tuts on how to eat sushi?

  • there is alot of rules 2 eat sushi

  • That is why you order out and eat it the way you want to at home.

  • Lol!!!

  • Seriously! Could you imagine being thrown out of the Sushi Bar by a crazed 70 year old "old skool" sushi chef with a meat cleaver just because you prefer to use a teaspoon instead of chopsticks?

  • ha ha ha ha

    you idiot,

if this isn't a joke you are a stupid NERD

  • How rude [3:55]

Two hands, not one. It's not a can of soda.

  • dude u mean 3:51

  • i think he means 99:71

  • 9:71 *

  • rule #1 do not use wooden chopsticks. Especially if you're the damn host. Use some nice ones. They exist.

  • i hate pickled ginger, i ate one once, and then i puked :S

  • hee hee im eating sushi whilst watching this

  • kinda sad how the last part she breaks the rule on how to drink tea. lol

  • Do i really have to follow those rules if i am eating in public japan?

  • No people are fucking stupid, "oh you'll offend them if you don't do it right". Isn't that kind of insulting their intelligence, like they're not smart enough to know you are a foreigner, and not smart enough to not be offended? It's like the middle finger in Japan, it means nothing bad, but is often used. I wouldn't be offended by a Japanese doing that to me, although I might laugh.

  • Ahh...i see =D.

  • yea when you are in another country they will understand if you mess up doing something, and more than likely if someone invited you tto have dinner or eat sushi or eat with them in general. They will have the patience, and will understand that you are new to the customs. Of course you have to be willing to learn, and once you show that it's much more friendlier. This was my experience when I was in Turkey. I will be going to Japan soon, but I know Japanese customs because well I know a family.

  • yes sir, you do

  • What does the Middlefinger mean in Japanese, then?

  • F U

    lol Japan is pretty westernized.

  • well when you are eating with chopsticks do not under any circumstances stick your chopsticks straight into the dish because that's what they do at funerals. Very bad omen doing it to food especially rice. Also eat every grain of rice. I mean every grain.. I got torn a new one for leaving 1 grain in my bowl of rice.

  • loved it! (:

  • Hahah! At the begining she said to put your hand under the Handeless cup for females. at the end she just drank it!!!

  • haha i noticed that

  • Hahah! At the begining she said to put your hand under the Handeless cup for females. at the end she just drank it!!!

  • never had sushi can some one tell me if its good or bad

  • its good but when they make it it smells like vineger

  • its good but when they make it it smells like vineger

  • erm.. it's not bad, im not a fan of fish but i could get used to this

  • it depends if you dont like fish you wont like it...obviously. but it depends on your taste

  • That was helpful! and I have to say, the girl having the sushi is really cute too :)

  • here is my way

    Step 1: open hand

Step 2: put food in hand

    Step 3: eat.

  • that everybody's way

  • @huss11 hahahahahhhahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Thanxs for the sushi etiquette!

  • wow...the japan/korea ppl have a easier time to wash the dishes since it is rude to leave bits on ur plate!

  • hahaha

at the end you drank with one hand instead of 2....nice

  • at the end you drank with one hand instead of 2....nice

  • Ironically, eating sushi with your hands is the right way to do it.

  • lolz

  • i eat my sushi wit ym hands too and it is cool!

  • pónganse de acuerdo... all of you go to an agreement

  • Esta errado!!

  • explicate

    porque esta errado?

  • She is rude sushi should eat in one go and mixing wasabi with the soy sauce is also rude

  • o.O so how do u eat the sushi with wasbi then???

  • You are to take a small bit of wasabi and dab or smear it on the particular sushi piece you are about to eat. Making a wasabi/soy soup is considered rude and not to mention... gross. ^_^

  • actually the right way is to mix a bit of wasabi with the soy sauce if you want a little spice but the majority of japanese people don't use it. i'd like to see you "smear" it on your sushi in japan. don't talk when you don't actually know anything.

  • not rude at all

  • Boys are werid...... she's not HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

she's just her and just trying to do her job....

not be told she's hot....or maybe she does????

  • What's that girl's name. I think she's cute. ^_^

  • Im japanese.Sushi is only fast food.Dont care about manner.

you can eat them your style. if you cant use chopsticks,

you can use your fingers. But, its very important!!!

    "Dont leave meal"

  • That girl is ugly!

  • I could eat that girl with or without chopsticks! lol She´s hot!

  • For some reason eating sushi makes me extremely horny. I dont know why. Maybe its all the mannerisms and politeness involved. Also doesn't fish have those chemicals that makes your genitalia tingle?

  • lol

  • i thought you weren't supposed to mix the wasabi into the soy sauce. It overpowers the soy sauce and hides the true flavor of the fish

  • you can put wasabi in there just not alot of it

  • This is great. Thanks for posting.

  • I also noticed that the eater forgot to hold the drinking cup with two hands placing the second hand on the bottom.

  • Very, very nicely done!

  • at the end when she drinks the tea she forog tto put her other hand on the bottom of the cup XD

  • They should make more of these videos for other cuisines.

  • Nice one! I'm going to Japan for a month this summer, and this explained a lot to me!

  • Good thing I've been doing take out, because I've broken many rules already. I thought the ginger was to lower the intensity of the wasabi without affect its "zing".Great video though!

  • this is a very good intro to the basics!

  • Informative.
