@20loner Tyler was trying to show this song being sung over a period of time so that the rest of the movie would adjust to the timeline of the events that happened next. So, having her change clothes was his way of progessing the movie through a span af time from when Mary first started the song and had that inital talk with April to the scene where the little girl got propositioned. :)
