If you've really appreciated SlumDog Millionaire, then you'll also appreciate the fact that the movie is NOT about Dev Patel or Freida Pinto or the omnipresent Anil Kapoor. It's a joke that these guys are constantly seen at film festivals when their contribution to the movie was just trivial, to say the least. It's so annoying to see these 'also-rans' trying to hog the limelight in all the film festivals.

Instead, the movie is all about Danny Boyle, A.R.Rehman, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar (the youngest Jamal), the youngest Latika, superb cinematography and most importantly, the cultural melting pot that Mumbai is. It's quite sad and amusing to see people like Anil Kapoor and Freida Pinto trying to piggy-back on the success of this film and trying to hog the limelight in almost all the film festivals. None of their roles are worth a nomination in any category, to be honest.

It's the overall effort of the entire cast, like honestly sure she wasn't amazing, but she did a good job. Of course they're taking interviews, people obviously choose to interview them for a reason. Obviously they'll use this to boost their careers, and I bet they'll receive movie requests in the future.
