@bmxcallum To start any train in uk , the simple ways are to got to F gear and then back to N and you will see the AWS flower flash , keep pressing Insert to activate the AWS until it turns yellow again , and then press space to de-activate DRA and your done ( 1. Go F then N , 2. Turn on AWS , 3.De-activate DRA )

the run up sounds dont really work, ebcuase in teh case of it slipping that severly, the Amps on the Ammetre would fluctuate, due to the engine cutting the power... ;)
