I MEET HIM IN 1993 ,HE WAS PLAYING WITH A MEXICAN ROCK BAND CALLED "CAIFANES "(check out CAIFANES bass player SABO ROMO in the CDS "el diablito" , "caifanes vol.1" , and "el silencio" STU SAID SABO ROMO ITS A VERY RUDE BASSIST, STU VERY NICE PERSON AND HUMBLE GUY. SALUTES FROM TEKILAND
LOL LOL LOL LOL.....heey guyyyys STU IS NOT DEAD!!!! .....REALLY!!! LOL LOL LOL....like the guy said befor me...its final like..."the end of the show" not final like "stu is dead and he wont play again"....youtube can really mess things up..
It's not "Final bass solo" as in Stu's left us - I just saw him on the Satriani tour a week ago - but "Final bass solo" as Stu was the Headlining Act and therefore this was the *Final* bass solo of the show.
Stu Hamm was a huge inspiration to me, but now I find I can't get into his stuff as much anymore, this is starting to feel stale after seeing this act many times. No doubt he is up there with the bass gods tho.
TY Man. I dont care about what do they think. The only thing i care is that I will be bether than him one day. I pray god every day. TY. I will remeber that when I play the bass like him. TY.
Now that his kids are growing up he doesn't want to miss their lives spending months on tour. He still tours, and still tours with Satriani (I just saw them a week ago) but he's cut back because of the above reason.
It's 'Nostalgia' - One of his solo songs on 'The Light Beyond' with Frank Gambale and Steve Smith. Although he also plays it a lot in other random solos.
actually at that point he was going into flow my tears from one of his early solo albums, he doesnt' go into star trek until the over four minute mark
i think jack bruce said it best " now the bass is a real instrument" it altars the direction more than any other instrument...
