@TJOstrowski yes you can or at least you can use arna 2, arma oa and the reinforcements together to have the BAF in chernarus. i'm not sure about just arma 2 and the reinforcements though.

@leathery22 Ok, which disk do I use? because with the Arma 2 disk I can only access the chernarus map, with OA I can access Takistan map and chernarus map. but if I click on the shortcut to reinforcements WITH the OA disk in I can only access the reinforcements maps; same if I use the actual reinforcements disk.

If you know how to get around this it would be great!

@TJOstrowski I would believe that you would have to launch from the OA launcher with the OA disk but thats a guess as i have the steam versions so no disks sorrry. but you could work around it with launchers like arma launcher google search it should come up, or six updater. six updater helps launch the game as well as you can find servers and download the addons they are using and connect its very handy. hope that helps

@Codopthekiller Yep, that´s true, you can open the mission editor, create your own mission or campaign or just walk around using every single vehicle which OA offers. The map is quite huge (about 12x12km) and you can just walk around :)

@ygierick Optimise, defragment. The game doesn't 'lag', its a military simulator thats been made into something of a 'game', dont expect it to perform like a console port as it never will - this is an entirely different league. In terms of settings, terrain detail - very low will turn off grass without affecting other terrain details and save mucho FPS; AA also eats FPS like crazy; make sure your 3D resolution is on 100% and then adjust your screen resolution to the max that plays smooth.

There are three maps, almost 300 new models (featuring various camo and versions of each model), FLIR, UAV, factions etc etc.

It's really more than a new game than just a simple addon.

The A.I in Arma 2 needs drastic work and their are a number of bugs and such that make playing the game extremely frustrating, it is a pretty solid game overall though we just need patches to fix the essentials and add things like an auto-run key.

I Pre-Ordered Arma 2: OA I just want to say that Arma2 is by far the best game i ever played and is definitely the best for the $ there is so much content in the game and the graphics are top notch. I hope you guys change the night vision from getting dark / fading in this new one.
