...golf course, (the EXACT quote was "Alright, you've done your job, you covered your ass...you can go home now.") shock and surprise, Bin Laden struck targets in the US by flying airliners into them!

Or don't you remember that? You know...How Bush was in office for *8 MONTHS* prior to 9/11, how Bush didn't think Bin Laden was really a serious threat, how all the downgrades in security happened on BUSH's watch, at BUSH's discretion and on BUSH's order, or how he took off THE ENTIRE

  • @macgeek2004 i just read your comments and i would personally like to make out with you. who would have thought that a voice of reason would emerge on a youtube comment page?

  • @gop4usa12

"What did Bush ever do to you besides keep your sorry ass safe...since 9/11?" Oh, you mean after he openly fucking FAILED to protect us from the Saudi terrorists that HE HIMSELF bankrolled, AFTER he ignored EVERY. single. obvious. sign. of. 9/11. before. it. happened, and then, NOT EVEN A MONTH after a CIA operative tried to brief him on a top secret memo called, "BIN LADEN TO STRIKE TARGETS IN THE US BY FLYING AIRLINERS INTO THEM," and was DISMISSED out of hand by Pres. Bush on the

But alright, here you go, dumbass: I'll play. As it turns out, the answer is, "absolutely fucking nothing," but, in fact, he _did_ do a LOT to keep us UNSAFE! I mean, let's forget that it was Bush's failure as a President which DIRECTLY led to the FIRST attack...you've got his tourture and rendition programs, the entire unjust Iraq War, the list goes on, and on, AND ON, but let's go back to the question 1st:

  • @gop4usa12

"What did Bush ever do to you besides keep your sorry ass safe from terrorism since 9/11?"

O.O;; Wow, do you REALLY wanna go there? DO YOU FUCKING REALLY wanna open up that can of worms? Fuck, you might as well have asked me, "What did Bush do to you since 9/11 other than keep your sorry ass safe from Sadaam's WMD's?" I mean, seriously! It's JUST as fucking retarded!

  • just like there was clerical christian fascism in slovakia there is islamic fascism. it does not mean muslims are evil, it means that there are dictatorial nations in which leaders base their dictatorial powers on deformed interpretations of the quran. christian clerics in slovakia did the same with the bible. islamofascism is absokutely ccurate.

  • rachel give me aids

  • SO, would not John Edwards fit the criteria she just described about failed, boring, ex-politicians?

  • i wonder if anyone asks him about what 'santorum' became slang for

  • Those quotes are from your profile. I think you'll object to anything Obama does simply because he's black. I believe you're very narrow minded and simply angry this nation evolved past of the 1950s. Maybe you're still upset about his 'guns & bibles' remark.

  • Is there any point is trying to have a conversation with someone holding these views:

"Arabs and the like are roaches of the earth."

"Fags are nothing more than freaks of nature."

If you hold those opinions, I doubt I could do anything but waste your time.

Isn't anyone else upset that the republican party has been hijacked by skinheads and jesus-freaks?

  • I think you're wrong. Bush actually created a great deal more terrorism in the world. Most experts see this. We're at greater risk today precisely because of people that think you can fight terrorism with armies.

At least you'll never realize what you helped enable. We deserve every bit of it what we end up paying for that crime. Our suffering is nothing compared to what other people have gone through because of what we did. And you have the gaul to be angry at those who put a stop to it.

  • It's no wonder why democrats want to bring back the "fairness doctrine" only to talk radio while dumb broads like this get to keep spewing their ignorance. Santorum knows what he's talking about. Losing a popularity contest doesn't make his views wrong.

  • Dumb broads? If anyone in the media knows their politics its Rachel (she did a dissertation in Poli Sci at Oxford). She may not know her economics or science, but she turns to those who do.

  • Let me ask you this, since I don't know who this Rachel is and don't watch MSLSD: Does she have to defend her positions to conservative callers, or does she run her mouth unchallenged? And here's another little tidbit from me: Oxford University doesn't impress my in the least, nor do any of America's Ivy league colleges. Call me dumb, but at least I know you can't spend yourself out of debt any more than you can drink to get sober.

  • TV news is a different format. They rarely take calls on the show, but they DO respond to criticisms given during the week. You should be impressed by our Ivy leagues, as nearly all of our scientific/medical advances (and all of the benefits that we all avail ourselves to) can be laid at their feet. Also, your analogy between alcohol and economics is false. I wont call you dumb, but I will say that (in general) the Ivy leaguers know econ, poliSci, science and med better than we do.

  • I don't dispute what you say about Ivy league colleges and all other forms of higher education for that matter. But the thing that really gets to me is knowing that the people who are the most responsible for running America thru the sewer are all well educated. I believe modern-day universities are just propaganda machines for the left, which is where we find the term "educated idiot."

  • What's wrong with my analogy? The point I made was that we as a country are trying to get out of a mess by doing the very thing that got us into it in the first place. Spending is what got us into debt, which is exactly what this "stimulus" bill does. We didn't like it when the republican majority overspent. So why is it suddenly okay when democrats spend a whole lot more?

  • Although I understand your analogy, I think what Fichte is saying is that there is an important difference between spending our way out of debt and drinking our way out of drunkeness. For example, if someone racks up debt somehow, he has a chance of paying it off by spending more money on a sure investment of some sort. Spending money on infrastructure projects and other job-creating programs are such investments, and there is a good chance that they will pull us out of this mess...

  • I see! Spending on inverstments in order to receive a greater return does kinda kill my analogy. Then again; my analogy still holds true because there is very little hope for any return from our investments in this spending (stimulus) bill. When money goes to condoms, std awareness, ACORN, and (exclusively) union jobs; it doesn't come back. That money will be pissed away in weeks. But our descendants will be spending the next century trying to pay it off.

  • You've really put your finger on the point of disagreement. Although the stimulus includes the things that you mentioned (although not all jobs will be union), the amount devoted to these things is almost negligible. Its also argued that tax-cuts (in lou of spending) is a worse investment for us right now. Relying on people to spend in a time when consumer confidence is at an all-time low seems riskier than spending on many projects that are sure things (even tho some aren't, as u mentioned).

  • There are multiple ways to spend money, but only one way to drink alcohol. (I agree with almost everything you said, btw. Its just that the risk of analogies is their potential to oversimplify things.)

  • I'm just curious, where were you when your Party was blowing a surplus on, at least, the Iraq War? Where were you when no questions could be asked when Bush was telling us that Iraq had WMD and was behind 9/11. If you didn't speak out then, you've forfeited your right to speak out now.

  • My party blew a surplus on the Iraq war? National security is specifically mandated by the constitution, congress (including most democrats) voted for it, and nobody was stopped from asking such questions. I did speak out against the republicans on many issues such as social spending and the open border with Mexico. I'll conceed your argument when you show me the constitutional authority of the stimulus bill. Oh, and would you like to know who else said Saddam had WMD's?

  • if tax cuts alone were the answer, america would be an oasis of wealth today. bush and the gop conservatives have practically destroyed the backbone of this country. time to try something else.

  • You liberals really frustrate me. How many times do we have to tell you that it's the wasteful spending that's the problem. Tax cuts alone brought in more revenue to the treasury. Whenever Bush needed funding for the troops, democrats added billions in social spending to the bills. So in order to get what he wanted, he had to give dems what they wanted. The amount spent on the war on terror pales in comparison to all that liberal unconstitutional spending. Now we're getting more of it!

  • You're frustrated? Imagine how rational people feel, having suffered eight years of insane leadership claiming to be directed by the creator of the universe. Leadership that well meaning, but hopelessly clueless people voted for.

It's a little tiresome to listen to those same people deliver the same mindless rhetoric that's failed so miserably over the last few decades. But do keep it up, it makes it all that much easier to property classify the message.

  • Yes, I know you think this is funny. But let me tell you; electing Obama was like jumping off a cliff and taking me with you. Unlike you, I actually give a damn about our descendants. Our armed forces and sane voters have kept this country free and secure over 200 years. Thanks to numbnuts like you; our grandkids are going to be left holding the bag. What did Bush ever do to you besides keep your sorry ass safe from terrorism since 9/11?

  • Rick Santorum is pretty cool.

  • The language part was the best.
