Toyota: eating American cars, Shitting out German Cars!!! The worst asian car (Kia) is better than the best american car (GM). American cars really due suck, thats why the big 3 are going bankrupt. Asian cars might not be as tough as American cars, but they will last you forever!!! Once Toyota adds a diesel, better door handles on the extended cab, stronger than ever frame, and roof lights to the Tundra, it will make the ultimite truck! hands down!!!

Powertrain problems... Um, didn't the Tundra get a recall notice for transmission failures with the initial batch of 5.7L 6 speed transmissions?

I was surprised he mentioned that as well. The back up alarm was standard on mine, and the camera is certainly available, allbeit I opted for a much cheaper aftermarket camera for $115.00. Certainly not as good as the Toyota's version by any means, but cheaper and adequate for the few times I actually use it. Bottom line, a superb truck!
