I live in Toronto and we are not near the ocean but in 1954, Hurricane Hazel hit Toronto & Southern Ontario with a direct hit and homes were washed away etc 81 people died in the end. The Maritime provinces are the ones that are in harms way. I hope I never know what it's like.
BTW - I am going to Pennsylvania this summer. I am looking forward to it.

i live in wisconsin and we got storms from katrina, obviously not nearly as bad as the ones down south but still pretty bad
