I prefer the studio version over the live. This is proof good music still exists...you just have to know where to look. "Sky is womb and she's the moon." That's pure poetry.
first time i heard this, well the 1st time i gave it a good listen, i was parting ways with my mom , sister and dog and going home to a terrible life. the evening sky was just beautiful and i was on a ferry to vancouver. cried like never before.

Interesting how different the two versions are, but the magic of the song is the same.
Something about the beginning of this song and the progression really hits a nerve ending with me. It tugs at this raw feeling of nostalgia without any explication.

It's an E-bow, some sort of magnet you can put on your guitar to make the strings vibrate without even toughing them. :)
