With that being said, where did these two masses of matter come from that collided and created our universe and other universes? I love the message of the Book of Mormon. It helps explain how Christ can be the savior to the entire human race, that God loves all men and has provided a way that all the peoples who have ever lived on the earth can partake of every blessing associated with being a Christian. How could God be a loving, caring and just God if the atonement was not available to all?
A powerful testimony and witness that the story and message of the Book of Mormon is TRUE. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the Living God, crucified, died, buried and resurrected - He lives! I have known and associated with Elder Holland personally for thirty-eight years and I know him to be a God fearing and honest man - even a called servant of God.
I am so thankful for the Book of Mormon. It has brought me peace and understanding. I have read it and prayed asking God to help me to know that it is true. The spirit I felt after doing those things was so strong, comforting and peaceful that I could never deny what I felt. That it what tells me it is real. I don't need to see Christ or my Heavenly Father in this earthly life to know what I felt. I know I lived with them before I came to earth, and I hope to be with them again after this life.

Mormons overuse the word "know" so much that it no longer carries any meaning. When you tell me you know these things to be true shows me that you're ignorant of the overwhelming evidence against (or rather lack of evidence for) its truthfulness and devalues your testimony.

I don't necessarily know how others know... but for me I know because or personal spiritual experiences, miracles, witnesses, logic and feelings. For me, it is a combination of all of those things. Many are spiritual things which take many forms, but there have also been logical things that help support those physical things. I do think many many members could incorporate some reasons for WHY they know, instead of just knowing.
I think for many of the LDS church, they have had so many different experiences that confirm their knowledge of the truth. It can be to complex to explain. I know the the Church is true bc God has confirmed it to me through the fruits of the spirit. I know it is true because of the opposition I received during my conversion to the church. The Book of Mormon was translated by a man who had hardly any schooling. The Hebraic poetic meter that it contains matches that of the bible. By this I know!

Therefore, an essential step to gaining wisdom (knowledge and the ability to act in accordance with it) is prayer.
Having read the Book of Mormon, pondered it, and prayed to know whether it is true, I can add my witness to Elder Holland's that it IS true, and that it has strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ and in His Atonement. I am greatful for whom the Book of Mormon testifies. It testifies of Christ! You witness His miracles, but also the miracle He performs though His called servants. I know that this book is true! I was privileged to sing with the Mormon Choral Organizations of America on this recording. The power in this music is overwhelming. The Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I have prayed and found out the truth for myself. If you have any questions or doubts, you too can know for yourself. Just read it and ask God!

I absolutely love the book of Mormon it is an awesome book. I have been blessed many of times by reading the book. I have prayed and searched and have found out that this book is true. In which I challenge you to pray and search and find out if the book of Mormon is true or not.

Since I sing in the Choir in this video, I want to share my feelings...I love this book. It is a perfect companion to the Bible in testifying of Jesus Christ and has an amazing clarity that has blessed my life over and over again. I hope that if you are curious, you will go and read for yourself at mormon.org. If you are sincere when you read it, you will feel the truth of it's words in the quietness of your heart and mind.

Truly an inspiriation, i can hardly wait for more music from this organization. I'm glad to see that there is still hope in the world. I'm also absolutely sure, with a perfect knowledge, that God lives, as well as his son Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is the most historically correct book written as have confirmed many professors and scholars not of this faith. If you read, ponder and ask in faith. You too shall know of its validity as well as be blessed by what you'll find within its pages

Mormons overuse the word "know" so much that it no longer carries any meaning. When you tell me you know these things to be true shows me that you're ignorant of the overwhelming evidence against (or rather lack of evidence for) its truthfulness and devalues your testimony.

@boughtout To each there own when it comes to how they know. I don't necessarily know how others know... but for me I know because or personal spiritual experiences, miracles, witnesses, logic and feelings. For me, it is a combination of all of those things. Many are spiritual things which take many forms, but there have also been logical things that help support those physical things. I do think many many members could incorporate some reasons for WHY they know, instead of just knowing.

I think for many of the LDS church, they have had so many different experiences that confirm their knowledge of the truth. It can be to complex to explain. I know the the Church is true bc God has confirmed it to me through the fruits of the spirit. I know it is true because of the opposition I received during my conversion to the church. The Book of Mormon was translated by a man who had hardly any schooling. The Hebraic poetic meter that it contains matches that of the bible. By this I know!

@boughtout until you have actually studied the Book of Mormon and found out for yourself if it's true, you never will understand. A personal witness of the truth of this scripture is just that-personal. Simply because someone else doesn't see things the way I do doesn't devalue what I know in the least. If you really want to know why we use the word "know" then find out for yourself. Read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it is true. You will be surprised at the result.

@windigo77 Through sincere prayer, God grants us wisdom. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God." Wisdom is the combination of knowledge and action. "the quality or state of being wise; knowledge of what is true or right coupled with just judgment as to action; sagacity, discernment, or insight." Therefore, an essential step to gaining wisdom (knowledge and the ability to act in accordance with it) is prayer.

Having read the Book of Mormon, pondered it, and prayed to know whether it is true, I can add my witness to Elder Holland's that it IS true, and that it has strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ and in His Atonement. I too stand witness to the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I know that the people in the record were real and lived and that Christ did come to the Americas. I am so grateful for the peace that this special record has brought into my life. I know 100% that this record was given to us by our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith found and translated it through the power of God. I encourage all who have not yet had the chance to, read it and pray with a sincere heart to know its truth.

The best way for me to share my testimony has always been through music. There aren't words to describe how amazing it has been to be a part of both OCMCO & EVMCO! I am greatful for whom the Book of Mormon testifies. It testifies of Christ! You witness His miracles, but also the miracle He performs though His called servants. Just has Peter, John, and the other apostles of the bible performed many wonders, so did those of the Book of Mormon. It isn't called 'The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Christ" for no reason. Because of it I have another witness that Jesus is the Christ! And that through Him, All things are possible!

I will never be able to say it as eloquently as Jeffrey R. Holland, but I can echo his words in saying that the Lord will know my testimony of the Book of Mormon at judgement day. It is true. It is SO true. All you have to do is read and feel the light come more and more in to your life, as it has for mine.

The Book of Mormon is another testamanet of Christ. This record tells of the Messiah's visit to the Americas after he resureected. I know that it is a true book. If you want to know for yourself, I invite you to read it too and feel of it's spirit like I have. You can read it on lds.org. It has changed my life and will continue to do so as I continue to read it and gain strength from the power that lies within knowing that Jesus is the Christ and my personal Savior!

I know the Book of Mormon is true and that the people in it were real. I know they talked to God and that Christ visited them after His resurrection. I know that the gospel truths contained in this book are eternal principles that will bring us closer to God. The stories and experiences and teaching are meant specifically for our day. There is a powerful and amazing spirit that accompanies this book. I am grateful for the clarity and direction I find when I read it.

The Book of Mormon proves that God is not dead and speaks to one nation like He does another. He loves us all! He brings forth his word today, just as He did in days of old. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. This record of Jesus Christ as recorded by the ancient Americans has given me a fuller understanding and relationship with my Savior. I love the Book of Mormon, the peace it brings. The most correct, and most life-changing book of all time. I know it is more of God's word.

I love this video and the message that is declared! I know that The Book of Mormon is true. It has helped me come to know God and my Savior Jesus Christ. The knowledge of this has been a lighthouse to me in the midst of a stormy earth. I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I love it, I live it, and I love and live for the one whose divine Church it is, even our Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior. The Book of Mormon has, along with the Holy Bible, helped shape and change my life for the better. These two great records of God's word, combined with the influence of the Holy Ghost, have led me, guided me, protected me, and stood as an indelible witness.
