knight industries two thousand ( Kitt) the cars jumped were all model toys , where as the general lee , only the last season did they start using model cars as they were harder to find and more expensive . General Lee all the way :)

@nextellcup8 Nope they only used models of KITT in series 2 to keep the costs down, Series 1 3 and 4 they did use real cars for the jumps.So there you go.

the dukes of hazard from 05 was just plain dumb and stupid my reasons are as follows:

1 johnny knoxville do i need to say more

2 roscoe wasnt a fat dude he was a skiny twig

3 boss hogg wasnt a tall skinny guy he was a short fat guy (danny devito would of been perfect)

4 uncle jesse was also a short fat guy not a skinny hippy

5 daisy was a blonde not a brown head

thats whay the dukes of hazard movie failed big time cause they didnt even get actors to even look like the orginals

the genral leedonsnt have bullet proof tyres or a oil slick. and also kitt is much brainer than the general lee. kitt can tell you where the enemy is inside a building or outside the building where ever they maybe. so im goin with kitt hes much better lookin and sound nice. the general lee looks like its come from a back of a farm yard.

@Zach979, yeah but General Lee can only make jumps using some sort of ramp, KITT doesn't need one.

There is no way that KITT landed that jump. Wish they didn't cut away. That would have been a spectacular crash.

Interesting. When General Lee used to jump in the show, you'd hear that engine sound revving up. Then, on Knight Rider, you would hear KITT's turbine sound, " Voom Voom Voom Voom " in mid-air. I always made that Voom sound when playing with my KITT toy cars growing up. I had the KITT pedal car in the mid 80's, but Never did Turbo Boost it! LOL I did many 180 bootleg turns at the other house i grew up at. It had a paved sloped driveway, i wore out my KITT pedal car.

there actually was sort of a dukes and knight rider crossover on the first season KR ep "give me liberty". the 2 brothers in the orange charger that runs on moonshine is clearly a spoof of the dukes of hazzard. they have confederate flags on their jackets, and the car is an orange 69 charger with vector wheels. need i say more?
