1400 is actually very good, depending on what hardware you are getting, are you going with Intel or amd?? also ati or nvidia for you're graphics, personally i went with Intel CPU and a nvidia graphics card,[but i am going to upgrade to an ati radeon]. anyway just tell me what you need and I'll see if i can find something for you.

Please remember everyone this is a 2 year old video with a 2 year old spec computer, and even though its still pretty good by todays standards, its not the best. The price now would probably be considerably lower aswell.

If you custom build a PC, you automatically get the following warranties:

HDD - 5year

CPU - 3year

MOBO -1 or 2 year

RAM - lifetime

PSU - 1 year

GPU - 1 year most brands(lifetime if XFX)

so why buy shitty HP with OEM parts and unreliable water cooling? Also what kind of customer support do you need if you are smart enough to build it yourself? Most gamers know how to fix their machines. Suport PC enthusiasts, gamers, overclockers, and modders... SAY NO TO OEMs

i bough a high end voodoo laptop it destroys almost every desktop pc that iv seen, and iv been at many lan parties where everyone has dropped $1000's of dollers into there machines voodoo are insane and they look beautiful. alenware has nice shit but maxed out voodoo pc would destroy alien, only thing alien has going against it is the new huge display. But i dont think voodoo makes screens...

The only way to see which pc is better: Get a maxed out alienware (the most expensive u can get, probably 10k i guess) A maxed out Voddo,(the most expensive u can get) A maxed out Falcon (the most expensive u can get) and a maxed out custom built pc, then install crysis on them and run it with directx10 at max settings with fraps on and see which one has the best frame rates...
