Hey Buddy, Canadians PAY A LOT MORE TAXES than Americans. It's pretty close to California Levels, but the only exeption would be Alberta. The sales taxes are 13%, they are Harmonizing federal/provincial sales taxes, in Toronto they brought land transfer taxes ( plus the provincial ),5 cents per plastic bag, vehicle registration fee , I can go on an on and on. US taxes are much lower ( exept perhaps California, which is about the same )
With a computer you can data mine the Internal Revenue Code. In minuets you can find out who is liable for the income tax. Just remember that all taxes imposed by the Code share 3 absolutes.
1.What is taxed is identified.
2.The amount of tax is given
3.Persons liable for the tax are clearly identified.
