  • tboii09 - Go educate yourself about the world in order to recognize that the 'wonderful USA' was built by the hands of these ''niggers'' who your fascist ancestors slaved , without having the wisdom or the capability to hold an ethical and value judgment of other people's cultures and civilizations. But ...it seems unlikely that you are capable of educating yourself...because you are a fucking racist !

And what the fuck man....if u are fluent in english at least learn how to spell!!! PEACE

  • Well said. Boy tboii09 i am so sad for you.You have a mind like that. I hope when you get older you look back on things like this and see how stupid you make yourself look!!

  • @deesab

The US abolished slavery less than a century after being formed. The US originally was a colony, remember? The brits, spanish, and french all had farms and plantations with slaves. So when we became our own country we naturally kept them around because it was the easiest way to harvest crops. It's not like we were the only nation with slaves. We just had a bigger incident of slavery due to the fact that we had much more farmland than any other European nation.

  • @IMSMRTR and what is the conclusion of what you are saying?

    that he isnt right?

i dont think its changing any of his arguments

  • @deesab As a white man I will always thank the black influence in this country musically, artistically and even philosophically , technologically just listen to Dr Cornel West.

  • @deesab Asking a racist to educate themselves would be like attempting to have an argument with a dining room table.

Forget it. You'd be better off walking into an empty room and argue with the light fixture on the ceiling. Same difference.

  • @deesab I hope that someday all people will love one another. You're absolutely justified to say all you do, and I of course, I have no right whatsoever to criticize it (seeing as I'm white too). Just that I hope that someday, somehow, I could give my life in support of your future and eliminate what unimaginable suffering you must experience so that my children won't have to be doomed to be white "trash" forever. Thank you sincerely for your comment.

  • your very welcome tboii09.Tboii? does that stand for transvestite boi? get the dick out of your ass you think your hard on the interenet but really your just a sad sad little girl traped in a boys body. we all have insecurity the trigger for yours must be black people you probly wish you were a black girl getting fucked by a big black dick with vains bolging out oh well nice meeting you fag

  • hahahaha you is hella funny you must suck dick n swallow sticky cum i see some residue on the side of your mouth

  • My Aunt is at the top of her game always...Love you Aunt Bobbi

  • KMD^^

  • she topps!

  • This is one of Bobbi's many masterpieces. All her albums/cd's have great substance to them.

  • Rakim used this for "Keep the Beat". KMD used this for "Plumskins".

  • seems like all the real hip hop acts know where to go for the great samples.

  • Right on. There are many connections between the 70´s jazzfusion, jazzrock and modern hip hop. Just love it.

  • This was such a great album. Incredible talent. I loved this and played it over and over at age 9. Still a jazz lady and always.

  • My Lady introduced me to this beautiful sound. And i enjoy every new song i come across.. thanks for posting. simply amazing.

  • when did'nt watch much tv growin up....music was a passion for my parents and the 4 of us kids love all types...imagine autumn 1974 a view of the San

Francisco bay and this playin inthe back ground.I grew up on Treasure Island...wow the memories..

  • I didn't imagine it. I lived it. I remember when this LP came out- My sister bought a copy back in Christmas, 1973. She played the hell out of it. Wore it out. Fast forward to Autumn 1974, I was riding around on my Schwinn Singray, collecting baseball cards and doing what all 11-year old kids do. I grew up in the South Bay- Santa Clara. And I wouldn't have traded growing up then for anything in the world. I really feel sorry for these younger people- they didn't get to experience the 1970s.

  • I'm 18...

Just because we weren't alive in the 70s doesn't me we can't appreciate it for what it was. We can experience it through the music that's left behind like, Bobbi, Johnny hammond, the counts etc... It's is something that travels through the ages, and never really gets old. Even the music you hear today owes a lot to the music that was around back then, its influenced modern music more than you can imagine xD

All's not lost for us ;)

  • well said!

  • i wish i could have, because being a musician and having a love for good music, i would have been very happy growing up then, when it comes to music that is.

  • well,youall-i was in my 20's in the 70's, and this was bad,and stillis. my dad introduced me to jazz-ilove fusion-joe sample, roy ayers,al jarreau, earth, wind and fire-boy those were the days!

  • in the morning....hmmm!!! lol

  • i love this tune...if wasn't for the art of sampling, I might not have been up on this.

  • mil

  • Don't forget Eric B. & Rakim - Keep The Beat!

  • KMD

  • MF DOOM PLUMSKINZ!

  • ..Great post! ..a reply to tony6110,my daughter(now 15),learned to play flute, she blew me away!this little kid(about 9 then),playing flute in concerts for school and in France,i,with rose tinted glasses, thought wow!..another Bobbi Humphrey!..sadly,since passing her music exam, has left my dreams in shreds, kids DO have the ability, but only on their terms..peace

  • did she play "wasn't it yesterday lalala" (diana ross?

  • Digable Planets got it goin' on!!!

  • Definitely hear a touch of the Mizell Brothers here. Did they produce this album? I could just as easily imagine Donald Byrd on his trumpet jamming to this.

  • And the answer to my own question is ... yes :D

  • What you know baby Larry and Fonz was down, for those of us who know music beyond Kanye West.

    sy-

  • i think this was sampled by people under the stairs. not too sure though. great track also.
