Something I don't understand, this laser has 1 watt of power, and is so powerful. There are lightbulbs with 100 watts, nowhere near as powerful as this. That doesn't make sense.

@halo3man555 First off, incandescent light bulbs are terribly inefficient, about 5% lux (brightness) to overall wattage. The rest goes to heat. Also, this laser shoots light out at about .25 lux, meaning its a very concentrated beam. The only light other than the line that goes out is whatever is reflected from the surface it hits. A light bulb lights up a room far more, and is far less efficient :)
