He actually is an opera singer and trained in and still, every once in a while, continues to sing it. He just happens to sing in musicals as well.

the technique lies with warlow, of course. I mean just listen to the rate of vibrato,,,,a relaxed voice vibrates evenly...but the other guy has an amazing head/rock voice. The things he's got going for him is the high notes,,basicallt THE YELLING

that's not the point. the point is john is a legend in the craft, and Anthony Warlow is getting there. but they're in different occupations anyways. The oldest is always the teacher, maybe Warlow can learn something from the 58 year old veteran. this wasn't his last big concert. have you seen the one with tom jones? he still doing it after all these years.

well the fact that one is an opera singer and the other is a contemporary/pop singer, they're in 2 different styles. and that bit is most likely part of the performance.
