I wish we had an option of a center diffirential in Jeeps. Brits had that for decades in Land Rover. Certainly not as strong as my 241OR case but plenty strong enough.

@zaitcev Hey I drove land rovers for years. Land rovers have been in my family since 1970. off road is in my blood! Trust me when i say that land rovers permanent 4x4 is overrated! If 1 wheel is on ice or lifted in the air that wheel takes all of the power. I would rather drive up a hill with just rear wheel drive than lose power through one front wheel if it lifts! Land rovers diff lock is no different than putting a jeep in 4x4. I got a JK Unlimited now and it wipes the floor with defenders!

I had always thought of the Land Rovers as a luxury brand anyway.

My brother says that the Land Rovers are over priced and over rated.

The Jeep Call of Duty Rubicon is the best Jeep I have ever owned.

@macman1138 LOL...A local Land Rover shop asked if I would take a group of LR's out with my Jeep being that I knew all the trails, I'll never forget while we were standing around a couple girls were cold and said, "let's get back to our heated seats!", and I responded that is something you will never hear a Jeeper say but then the JK came out with heated seats..LOL

@PirateJeep I have been driving Jeeps since 1986, old Jeeps, ragged Jeeps, trucks, ones I fixed up.

This COD has GPS, Sat radio, a music hard drive, driver's computer, heated leather seats, LED lighting inside and out, LED head lights, very nice.

So after all of this time roughing it, hauling gravel, driving through creeks and the woods, I needed something to drive for work, bad weather, rough roads and simply to make this old man feel young again.

@JKmanglerCRD Sounds like your truck was broken, in 4hi when one wheel slips the viscous locks and sends power to another

@AZRRC1 Defenders, Old model range rover classic's and old model discovery dont have the viscous coupling. Later model range rover classic's and discovery with the ZF 4 speed auto have the viscous coupling in the borg warner transfer case. They are prone to seizing up and snapping the CV joints in the front axle. Land Rovers center diff lock does nothing more than any other 4x4 vehicle in part time 4x4.
