@kotzebrecher Barroth is pretty easy. I use a Longsword and Hammer, the best way to fight a Barroth is to get close to it. If you're too far away it'll be prone to trying to ram you. The worst that could happen is you getting covered in Mud. It gives you ample opportunities to attack it's legs and arms, and a chance to get fertile mud, wyvern tears, and if you are lucky, a chance to cut it's tail off. Full Barroth armor is good too.

I love fighting Agnaktor to this. I can see the battle now.

He digs into the area, spots me, roars, then digs underground. He starts divnig in and out of the ground, then partly emerges to fire his Agna Blaster, he misses then I start cutting him to shreds with my trusty longsword. *Repeat with a few changes.* His body hardens as he falls over lifeless as the prey had become the predator or was probably the predator from the start. You be the judge.

@Gunfire1012 yeah barroth was a major pain for me, but i used the great sword lv3 to take it out. all you do is put away the weapon so you can run after him or run away. With that method you could beat it with any weapon.

Regarding what stevieFFmaster said about fighting the Barroth. He's right.

Though another good weapon to use against the Barroth is the switch ax, preferably in the sword form .

@Gunfire1012 Use the Ludroth Nail on him. Barroth is weak against Water when he is covered in Mud and is weak against Fire when he isnt covered in Mud.

With a Water Type Weapon like the Ludroth Nail its very easy to break the Mud off the Barroth's body and he'll fall over almost all the time.

@ScreamingFanGirl666 baggi armor is ice so if will fail alfuly against aknaktor due to if fire elmently attacks meanying u will take 20% to 40% more damage to fir attacks that why i preffer armor that well balenced by mixing it up insted of the whole set

I know Acrus Lance hasn't got very good damage or sharpness, but I got it to flinch 8 times and chopped off the horn with it

@TheBlueSoup Attack its beard. You'll do the most raw damage there (acrus's pitiful thunder element means it's pretty much just there to supplement damage)

@TheBlueSoup people say that his beard is his weak spot, and you should beat Ceadeus before Agnaktor becuase you get a very good long sword with water damage from the Argosy Captain, then you probably may know or may not know, once your weapon gets strong enough, you will need items that are + like for instance: a Royal Ludroth Claw + is an item you get when you get HR 31+ and those weapons have amazing sharpness and strong attack, maybe we should play sometime?
