It's consumer protection, not a free-speech infringment...and the same thing would happen if a pharmecutical company falsified research and told Americans they would die without a product. I know because I read the bill. The most popular lie was about death panels and has been proven as a lie multiple times. The more current lie is that if you don't get government insurance, you will be sentenced to five years in jail. This is also a lie. For the facts on that lie, reference:

I did read the bill. All you did was reiterate what I stated, somehow citing a conclusion that was not congruent with the statement. Yes, you will be taxed if you don't have healthcare. It has not been established that the first amendment protects corporations in that they are state created entities for the purpose of commerce and are not citizens. That question is being taken up in front of the Supreme Court during the current session.
