It doesn't work so well if all you do is nudge it, you need to start it off with more forward momentum. It works better if you grab it by the top and sort of fling it down the first step. At least that's true with the regular-sized ones. But this video is a year old, and every Slinky I had when I was little only lasted a few weeks before it got tangled or all bent (usually as a result of trying to untangle it).

And she's cute as a button, by the way. Adorable little kid. ^_^
