  • Wow, Bowser looks kickass. Why can't there be more commercials like this in the states? All we do is use CGI.

  • japan always finds ways to fuck things up the ass.

  • japanese comercials sucks

  • the mean hello

  • wat

  • Goddamn that is a badass looking Bowser!

  • translation "Hello Hello super famicom, hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello, *DING*!

  • looks more like a Super Famikom/snes Commercial than SMW

  • First JAPANESE stop-motion i've ever seen. Not as lame as Animes are.

Mario looks just like in these 3D Mario games (for 64, GameCube and Wii).

  • that bowser looks cool! and scary

  • Japan Relese:1990 USA Relese:1991

  • Go back to bed, Bowser!

  • wf did i just see?

  • what the super famicom Fuck?

  • Why does Mario speak better Japanese then he does English!? O.O

  • @ryumaster This was back before Mario couldn't really talk. Or, if you want to fanwank it, he was lipsyncing, since he only knows Italian and a little English.

  • @ryumaster Okay, maybe I'm wrong. I just saw more recent Japanese commercials where Mario can talk. But it's always in this low pitched voice, which we know isn't his voice. So he still has to be lip syncing.

(Charles Martinet is the official voice of Mario, and in the few times when he's had to speak Japanese, it's still in that high pitched voice.)

  • urhg, I can't speak Japanese and even I can tell that song was LAAAAAAME. Wasn't Mario basically just singing something like "Hello, Hello, this is the Famicon" over and over again? Laaaaaaame.

  • good

  • what, dont bitch him up?

  • 0:28 mini pollo

  • What the hell??? lol this so looks like robot chicken.

  • Was that in stop Motion?

  • @sMCCarthyTV1 yes :D

  • the ads we got in America sucked horribly... I remember the Mario World one was just a lame narrator telling us we had more levels to conquer or some shit

  • @Frizzurd a bit more colour, a bit more colder, a bit more hotter, a bit more brighter, a bit more levels, a bit more SUPER MARIO WORLD, NOW ON THE SUPER NES!!!

  • @Frizzurd:

Yes and a commerical that shows nothing of the game is WAY better.

  • M.J = Mario Jackson , AOOOOUHHH

  • what's konichuwa mean?

  • @moonbeast32 Hello, i guess.

  • @horaciosi Good evening.

  • @Kintaro506 No, Konichiwa means Hello.

  • @horaciosi are you sure cuz I know the greeting for good afternoon is konnichiwa, I live in Japan dude...

  • @Kintaro506 Oh, i thought it was a joke XS

  • @moonbeast32 Good evening, konnichiwa

  • @Idiocracy2040 Americans created a talking, walking, cigarette smoking, general all around badass robot in the 1930s and you want to claim the technological superiority of Japan?

To put the icing on the cake, one nation has ever set foot on the moon. And they were waving the red, white, and blue. Now stop being an ignorant mother fucker and learn your place.

  • @batmanownsyourass

America AND Japan Are Both Supior To Each Other In Different Ways, Technology Wise.

  • @WolvusMan Other than video games and making useless technology (why do I need a cellphone the size of my thumb?) America is far superior in the field of technology.

  • @batmanownsyourass

I Highly Doubt They Are In EVERYTHING...

  • @batmanownsyourass - Fine; "who's gonna return this guy with the 'Grateful Dead' T-shirt and the 'Fuck You' hat to HIS original upright position?" ...Also,

I think this is another case of a dude who demands every other citizen play the maid of THE Country, while he is wrapped around THE flag. Blowing, you see, since a phone the size of a thumb leads to better mobility. Toil for anything too much, bathe in THE glory and mentally need ALL else bathing in, you're a tool.

    Even for God.

    Be Careful.

  • @super58173 "Better mobility" doesn't really matter when I can't press the buttons because my fingers are too big. Also, America is the forerunner in technological advances. This isn't misguided patriotism. This is fact. It's why Japanese came to America in the late 80s/90s and snatching up computer companies. They know we're better than them.

  • @batmanownsyourass - What you didn't know was that a cellphone the size of a thumb leaded to smaller electronics, but not to that extreme. WE? I just live at peace IN great USA, because, an extreme patriotism is believing America 'pwns' every other, HEED their BALLS! This is really just cocksucking; WANTING SELF proclaimed status to be REAL, syndromes being: attempting emotional "ownage", scavenging as many as reasons why. It's stupid to LIVE by crediting America itself for xxx.

    REAL Careful.

  • @Idiocracy2040 First of all, it was a joke. Second of all, everyone in the world knows that Americans make the most sophisticated equipment on the market. I mean there's a reason the fastest computer in the world is made with American components. Americans CREATED the video game department. Just because we moved from machines dedicated to play to machines dedicated to work does not mean we're less technologically advanced.

  • What's a Super Famicon? It sounds gay.

  • press 2 for pooper lol

  • CAN MARIO SING O.o , BTW THIS WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE , JAPANESE SMILE -.-

  • man i wish the console and controllers over here looked like that

  • @RunePenguinNinja You mean the coloured buttons lol i got the coloured ones there nice

  • is it my computer or is there no sound i think my computer mostly?

  • i dont get it... how come some characters are in Japanese, while others are in English?!

  • lol :)

  • Idiots, everyone knows Mario is Italian not Japanese.

  • @Hannibal457 Mario is japanese not italian morron!

  • @chipi20ful No shit sherlock it's a joke. He's an italian plumber made by the japanese, my god are you that dense?

  • @Chase1002newaccount yes I know it's a commercial for Super Mario World and yes I did watch it but I'm just saying what does this commercial have to do with super Mario world. Like where's yoshi this is his first apperance. And where's the gameplay footage basically every game commercial has gameplay footage. But maybe it would make more sense if it was in English or had English subtitles

  • his butt was on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ...Did the announcer say "Super Mario Bros. 4" at the end?

  • Love the slightly creepy stopmotion style.

  • thats on big ass bowser

  • i just got one question, wha?

  • What the fuck does this have to do with SMW

  • @MarioBrothers120

its a commircial for the game.

did you not watch the video?

  • @MarioBrothers120 super mario world was the first game of the snes/super famicom.

so mario is welcoming it in song. XD and smw is a launch title.

  • what

    the

    fuck

  • Now, You're Playing With Super Family Computing Power!

  • KONICHIWA KONICHIWA!,SUPAH! FAMICOM!

  • lol. so...i still never understood whys he's Italian .

  • i did not know that mario can sing

  • Bowser on drugs!

  • i still have that super Nintendo and it still works :D

  • whats he trying 2 say his shoes are on 2 tight??

  • Oh Mario what have they done to ya?

  • I just realized. He's dressed as himself in Dr. Mario

  • @Fleskjerafan yes.

  • how are you how are you how are you?

  • Super Mario Bros. 4?

  • @DDRUTOU it was going to be called that

  • @DDRUTOU Yeah, it was originally called Super Mario Bros. 4 and it was even a subtitle in the Japanese version of the game. Whether the Japanese version used it or not, in the American version the tiles exist for a specially-fonted 'Super Mario Bros. 4' on the title screen.

  • Damn, that bowser looked friggen scary! lol

  • these stop motion commercials are the best

  • Konnichiwa! Konnichiwa! Everyone!

  • stop motion mario is epic!!!

  • clay? armalizilto?

  • i hate the fact thast in england they dont put efoort in adverts i been watching tonnes of japanish adverts for mario and the like do stuff like this or make a cartton just for the advert

  • awesome

  • Haha this is hilarious XD

  • this leads more questions than it answers, since he speaks in Japanese, we assumed he had an Italian accent 'cause his name was mario, HOLY SHIT!

  • Lol i love how his creators are japanese and they thought of making him Italian!

  • that and all makes it more fucked up!!

  • I think Mario is saying "Hello hello Super Famicom!

  • @Armalizilto Yes, he is. Super Mario World was the debut release game for the Super Famicon, so that's why it's a "joint-commercial". It's advertising both at the same time as a bundle.

  • @Armalizilto yeah he is

  • @Armalizilto he is owo

  • @Armalizilto ACCTUALY, Konickiwa means good afternoon in japan. so it is "good afternoon, good afternoon. Super Famicom" food for thought.

  • you'd think in japanese nintendo wold be nintendo not famicon

  • Well, Nintendo's the name of the company. Famicom is Japanese for Family Computer. Rather than give the American version a Japanese name, they decided to call it the Nintendo Entertainment System. They did the same thing with the Super Famicom and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. They were gonna call the Nintendo 64 the Ultra Famicom, but, when the American version couldn't be called the Nintendo Ultra 64 due to copyright issues, they just called both versions the Nintendo 64. Same since.

  • Kind of catchy song.

  • mario's having a seizure

  • I have no idea what this has to do with the actual game, why this reminds me of the winter holidays, or why they keep on saying "hello" but..

    Awesome.

  • Fun little Ad. really their should be more like this, but oh Mario how you have been favored over by other characters such as Sonic (who I like better because he actually has a personality) and that loser from Halo, whatever his name was again....and so many more.

  • mario ads r always beta den sonic ads. to get to da point mario is beta den sonic period

  • how is dis a super mario world commercial if it doesnt hav gameplay

  • it dosnt surprise me in the least that Japaen gets all the really bad ass adverts for this stuff =\

eh, ours were pretty sweet too =3

  • PARECE TOPOGIGIO XD

  • They really told you how the game was when compared to the NES..... yeah, you can tell because Mario is singing.

  • That looks like robot chicken :D

  • @SonicRaps123 i hate robot chicken... ._.

  • Mario's head looks lose at the beggining.

  • lol mario's butt on fire

  • cool commercial.

  • More like Casino World Zone, amirite?

  • cough* MARIO>sonic

  • wow

    that wasnt hard to understand

mario talked real slow most commercials the announcer is saying 5 what sounds like five words a second

  • For the non-japanese he's saying "Hello, Super Famicom!"

  • lol , i love this kind of stuff

  • KONNICHIWA!!

  • Hah, that's some awesome claymation.

    Konichiwa!
