And at MrSinister: Technically, a boltgun is a type of Gyrojet carbine, which really would not be all it's cracked up to be. Don't believe me? Look up Gyrojet on wikipedia. If too lazy, Gyrojets are plagued with poor accuacy and are worthless at close quarters, as the rocket gains velocity as it flies, as apposed to a bullet, which looses velocity as it travels.

And then there's the SoB, who somehow got hold of power armour so tough it allows them to advance slowly across a battlefield, completely oblivious to fire, like the Necrons can...not to mention an Imperial regiment with more than a hundred Baneblades at its disposal...

i heard that a tau pulse rifle doesnt do much to a space marines power armour according to fluff!!and bolters are way more powerfull thean a pulse rifle one bolter round can send a man flying no problem and the bolter round is supposed to explode on impact!!

Indeed. When you consider that a bolter is, effectively, a fully-automatic *rocket launcher*, any other weapon looks thoroughly puny by comparison. Not to mention that it's a Space Marine's basic sidearm... which makes you wonder just how freakin' powerful their heavy weapons are O_O

It IS true. Bolters are one of the most feared weapons, and every "roar" of them is said to be a prayer to the emperor. There is NO way to silence a bolter, but most "normal" enemies surrender after they've seen what a single boltshell has done to "larry".

It is really sad that the tabletop does not represent the awesomeness of bolters. Then again, everyone runs arround shooting with lascannons and hitting with power weapons. So meh :/

Still, the one thing that DOES suck is the clip size.

@KGElf Well a bolter's bullet is a .75 explosive round that countains many holy prayers dedicated to destroy demons and to send them back to the warp and to obliterate any enemy that it hits caliber. I love the space marines :)

SoB are gentically enhanced becuz they are supposed to be like space marines. Also if they are not genetically enhanced how can they hold heavy bolters like SM while normal ppl like IG have to set them up like a turret? Also Tau would win becuz a pulse rifle ( tau gun) is more powerful than a bolter. model game proves it.

Now why does sororita power armour look all so thin and girly. Those legs are so thin they look like elder. They're meant to be genetically enhanced, where is the muscle, where is the decent looking power armour.

The SoB aren't genetically enhanced. As for the armor... er, well, hm. Probably a design choice, though I would also guess story-wise, there may be less bulk since the Sisters don't have a Black Carapace like SM, and thus could not move naturally or fast enough in bulkier power armor.

Then again, I see Inquisitors in some bulky power armor, so I'm guessing it's just design choice. Much like the ridiculous high heels they wear in certain artwork.

It'll either be something to do with your internet connection or something to do with how the game installed on the computer. If you ask me I'd uninstall it and re install it and if that still doesn't solve the problem then I'd call up the number on the back of the cd case for customer support :)

you want to know what i find to be strange about this intro? it uses in-game graphics, thus cutting the quality in half. what i cant understand is why they made actual scenimatics for the first 3, but not this one. the graphics in the openinn for the first 3 were amazing and i kind of wish that they had done that here. oh well, good intro to a good game anyways.

in order to get all the races you must install the game that they came with. an example of which is; say you want to play as the necron, you must install the dark crusades game. or if you want the guardsmen, you must install the winter assualt game. and so on and so forth... hope that helps.

yeah there all the same, but in this game they all have good reasons to fight one another.

eg the sisters of battle will fight the IG SM and Daemon hunters because they believe they have caused a great deal of heresy.

No, not for good reason. In DC the reason for the SM and the IG figthing was okay (something incriminating on Kronus for the Blood Ravens) but the reasosn given to us in SS for their fighting was aweful. They should stop focusing on making more imperium factions and bring in Tyranids or something.

Actually space marines aren't exactly fastest race and they aren't the greatest at range. So a frontal assault into a wall of Tau fire is pretty stupid. Proof that nuns are sooo fucking hardcore.
