  • Great video, thx for learning me an awesome song. Take care!

  • Thanks man. This was really helpful.

  • slow down when u teach, u go too fast.

  • @Gunnerss09 You can always pause you know. He teaches it well enough. People should learn to figure out basic stuff on their own, if you can't do that what's the point in learning something? If something's unclear in this video (which it isn't by the way, he explains everything in a great manner. First playing it slowly, then playing it like it should be), just try and look for it yourself?

  • @BassVincent People learn in vastly different ways. Some people like to figure stuff out on their own, some need to read how in a book while others need someone to tell them how to do it. Saying that people should be able to figure out basic stuff or it's no point in learning, is just an uncalled for burn and a good way to discourage people from learning new things. Instead we should be encouraging each other to discover and be part of the music we love

  • @polaroidmonkey He decided to criticize the maker of this vid, so he's open for criticism himself. Telling someone he's teaching too fast is fine IRL, but this is a youtube video. You can watch it an infinite amount of times. There's no need to rush things. Learning to be patient is also a part of being a musician.

  • @BassVincent I agree with all that. It was more of an attitude thingy :)

  • Thanks for the video man, it really helped me!

  • Nice help. About your guitar... Is it a blackbird? If yes-. I cant find it anywhere... what is it? :)

  • Wonderful song. I was itching to learn how to play it, thanks for posting.

  • This is really great, but one thing I noticed in the intro: where you have 0-0-0-2-0-0, I'm pretty sure he starts with 0-3-0-2-0-0. Other than that, pretty much spot on!

  • @rlena107 it's 0-4-0-2-0-0 - gives it this major 7th colour which is superbly understated, so don't play it too loud

  • @askerhansen and then after the tiny fingerpicking place he plays a major 7th too - 0-0-0-6-0-0.

But BTW - incredible job, you're doing here cougar!

  • Brilliant, thanks so much for this :D

  • Dude I love you :D Thanks a lot for the help!

  • THANK YOU!

  • you are awesome cougarman! :D

  • Good efff mate. What a dick he is for writing the song like this!!

  • Hey thanks so much, really appreciated mate

  • thanks man.....

  • Oh....my reaction did not appear. Well, the vid is on anyway ( check my channel ) :-)

  • This is very very close mate, but there's some tones missing. I think you helped me really really to find the right chords. I will post a tutorial soon, because I think I almost got it now. Maybe you can check it out than and see if it's good. We can help each other out :-)

I'll let you know when the vid is on.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! After learning your version, I think the tuning is actually CGCECE since he plays what sounds like an open major chord. Cheers!

  • very helpful. Is most of his stuff in this tuning?

  • cougarman8

you are freaking great. it just sounds amazing.

I can't get this song outta my head and even better now that I can learn to play it.

  • Thank you for doing these, they're fucking awesome even the disorganized ones like this, I can't wait to learn these songs and put up covers. Drying of the Lawns and Lion's Heart would make my life.
