How to disable the 'beep' noise played when plugging in the charger on the Gateway NV5207u laptop

@Dude16797452854763 I just spent over an hour online looking for an answer. You probably have RealTek Audio installed. You must uninstall it, then restart your computer to allow the computer to install the default HD audio driver. Problem solved!

If any of you buy one, Be prepared to upgrade the ram, be over protective of your screen so it doesnt break because thats a 70 dollar repair if done by yourself, and as always microsoft office will cost you 100 dollars.....

I've had my computer for 4 hours and I've already gotten sick of the beeping. Some people online have dealt with this for 3 months. I'm glad I found this. I actually have a NV57H58u. For me, everything was the same except for the last step. Instead of PC Speaker, the thing you have to mute is called PC Beep. Glad I found this before school started up again. I don't need to be disrupting class with that annoying noise. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to add that beep is a moron.

@CelissaWhooo are you sure? all laptops have built in speakers or you have speakers that plug in to your laptop? if you do follow this do the same process going to the sound options now play any youtube video and leave the sound window on the playback tab if you see any green bars going up and down click on it and press properties do the same process of taking off the beep in the video test it it should work
