I didn't particularly like having "families" on board the Enterprise D (at the very beginning of the series). I understand it made sense (considering the 5 year missions they underwent---which would mean considerable time lost between crew members/officers and their families)....but I liked the original compliment of Enterprise officers/crew. The families kinda gave the series a "hokeyness" until the Borg were introduced. (I agree that the Enterprise E looked much better).
Very little was ever told about this enterprise! I thought it was a great ship! Ambassador class I think!

I think the Enterprise C looked cool. And you did a good job here.

Somehow that is cool. Best looking Enterprise-C that I have seen. Looks better as a model than as art or a rendering on a Trek fan site. Great job!

YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB! However...I've always hated that ship.

I did too...lol. However it reminded me of the original design of the Enterprise D. You can see that in "The Art of Star Trek" book.

One of the worst designs the show had to offer although Enterprise-D was pretty pathetic...thank God it was replaced in "First Contact".
