CoD is a great franchise, the multiplayer was ok in mw2 but it needs a change. too many killstreaks and its getting repetitive, CoD 4 was and still is the best game i have ever played. Too many games are trying to "re-do" the effect of it. The first franchise to "break the mold" like infinty ward did in 2007 will get the same response they did. oh and CoD is getting way to over the top in campaign, CoD 4 was the perfect combo of realism and action. Now its just action, i dislike strongly :(

MOH is everything COD should have been. TBH, I've thought the COD franchise has been crap from the very first game released. I played it, and it just felt like a toy compared to MOH and BF.

The story was a joke in COD, and the multiplayer was not revolutionary.

Face it people. MOH is superior to COD in every way imaginable. Always has been, always will be. EA always focuses on the lives of the soldiers in the MOH series, instead of "blow this up then move forward".

In Halo you live and die by your grenades. They can really save you if you are outnumbered or are losing a duel. However, it's not easy to place/bounce them right. You've got to get a feel for them and you have to remain calm in order to use them wisely. Such careful balance and tactics are absent in CoD.

What spread there is in CoD matters much less because it only takes 1 or 2 bullets to kill. It takes 4 body + 1 head shots to kill in Reach. Grenades don't kill you instantly either. The shields + health mechanic allows you to react or seek cover if you start taking fire. Not so in CoD. Point, shoot, die, respawn describes Modern Warfare perfectly.

For the record, this is the first game i've played with the SOFLAM. Furthermore, the radio traffic is accurate and professional. Just like it should be. I pre-ordered limited edition and i'm more than happy with all the options this game has on limited edition. I own MW2 and many other shooters. I enjoy any game, regardless of the designer, which strives for accuracy in regards to military actions and engagements.

@CrawlingCoconut I totally disagree. Halo has much more rock paper scissors to it and its health system gives you time to think and react. You die pretty much instantly in CoD4, to almost any gun. Moreover, there is barely any recoil in the Modern Warfare series. You can practically snipe with assault rifles and sometimes even SMGs. It's the easiest multiplayer of all the major shooters on the market. That's one reason why its player base is so big.
