  • ok.

  • Most important thing in this video?

Change your tires whenever you see Abraham Lincoln.

  • Guess I gotta replace my brand new sports tires.

  • Thanks, it's a great reminder.

  • Excellent Video for Driving Schools and also for training of Traffic Police Officers.

  • yould you visit the blog treating a subject of - birth of a giant force detecting oil directly at a distant area and detecting the geologic oil system " directly by emision of a kind of waves -can accelerate to 7200 kms/h.more and very more advanced than modern technology of oil prospection - see site -

  • Great tips! Defensive driving is more than common knowledge; it is knowing more about your car and what it can do on the road, to keep you safe.

  • good reminders, thanks

  • M I L Fy

  • she reminds me a bit of michelle trachtenberg...oh, and great driving tips!!!

  • This is not really defensive driving more or less basic common knowlege you should know to drive. Do you have anything that shows how to correct a car that is out of control or in a dangerous situation?

  • @TracingPeeps how many drivers out there though use common sense when they are driving? They really should make these courses legal....and when you renew your licence they should make people take a driving test......esp those with drink driving and other road related offences.

I got whiplash as a result of a lady reversing without looking into the side of my car. Only had my car for a week, and it took nearly a year for the whiplash to completely go.

  • Contrary to your message this is a very very good video and there was no bullshit in it. Although the tyre tread test was somewhat over simplified.

The correct inflation for the tyre 'is' usually found around the B pillar, inside door edge or even behind the fuel flap, and the correct tire pressure varies upon vehicle, load and speed amongst many other things. The correct tyre inflation for a passanger car can be from anything between 25and 40 psi, so your advice of 32 psi is very bad

  • Comment removed

  • No you've mis-understood. Depending upon the car, the tyre pressure may vary dramatically. I.e, a Ford Fiesta may require 26 psi and a BMW 40 psi. So what i was trying to say was that your advice of 32 psi as a usally always figure as you put it is totally incorrect.

And what do you mean standard wheel size is 15"? Standard wheel sizes can run from 13"-18" depending upon the car. And Volvo and VW both list reccomened tyre pressures on the reverse of the filler flap on many of their cars.

  • I don't dispute that your particular Ford and it's particular model on its particular year does not almost always come with 15" wheels as standard. However, your claim that 'the' standard wheel size for cars in general is 15" I am disputing. Not everyone drives your exact vehicle do they?

So once again this video and its advice is not bullshit, it provides perfectly sound information. And it is not me who decides where manafacturers place their driver info, i'm just telling you the facts.

  • Also, every car tire I've come across, not just for my car, lots of other vehicles, have all had 32lb for the tire pressure, the exception is usually truck tires, high performance, and slicks, because they're different sizes. Also my main point was it's still not a good plan to rely on the manufacturers recommended pressure if you put slicks on. Regardless, I ALWAYS rely on the tire's sidewall pressure. Now, I'm sick of this argument over a comment I made TWO MONTHS AGO! FUCK OFF!!

  • There we go, now everyone can see what an idiot you are. :)

  • Actually Quuaa1 05027802 is right.

The number on the sticker in/on the car are the correct tire pressures for that particular car. I.E. the pressures stated give the best performance, control and response.

However the pressures stated on the wall of the tyre are the maximum safe pressures of the tyre.

So keep the pressures at the level stated in the car unless the level stated is above the level on the wall.

(That is how it works in England (and the US if my friends are correct)

  • Also not all tyres have wear ribs (though most do IIRC), so the penny trick is worth stating

  • THANK YOU!

  • Nice clean and right on dollar!

    Good Job

  • I AGREE THEY ARE GOOD
