What do I get with that? 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, 0-100 in 9 seconds, 0-100-0 in 13.5 seconds, a 1/4 mile in 12.4 seconds, top speed of 170 or so, and a skid-pad of 1.03g. Now that's what I call bang for your buck. Invest a couple thousand bucks in the Vette and you have yourself a supercar.

@brazilman07 The Grand Sport vette has Z06 body panels, spoiler splitter, and brakes. It DOES NOT have any ZR1 parts to "lighten it". Also, the Corvette is just as good or better as a daily driver than that lambo. Why you would want to drive either car in winter weather is beyond me though.
I would rather get an '04 Lamborghini Gallardo over all 3 of these... You can pick up a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo for as low as $80,000 now!... Which is $20,000-$30,000 cheaper then a new C6 Z06 (Around $100,000 before options and taxes)... Plus you can use the Gallardo everyday, and in the Winter here in Ontario...
Just my opinion, but if I had to choose a Vette.. I would get a GrandSport Corvette because of the ZR1 parts into a lighten Vette + You can get the Grandsport in a Targa Version (Y)

Hey man, I'm a fan of Ferrari, I actually like the old 308's & 328's. Ferrari puts insane quality into how they manufacture all of their cars, "BUT" I'd be more than a little ticked if I paid a couple hundred grand for a car that's struggling to keep up with a 4-banger. I know this evo is modded, but even so, the price and performance of the modded evo out-weights the cost of a Ferrari all day....
Don't forget that Ferrari developes engines for F1 too, so building a monster engine car for Ferrari is the slightest problem. Ferrari rather follows the EU super cars masterpiecing, meaning that they can squeeze out 500hp+ WITHOUT any turbos and superchargers. Both other cars here in this vid are supercharged/turboed so... Ferraris have plenty of HP headroom ;) You can even make a Gallardo with twin turbos have 1000-1500hp, doing 9 sec in drag on street tires so... :)
@popace If you can toy with compressions you can make almost any engine put out 500+ horse power. Than you have the reliability issues which ferraris have?
@popace Yes but look at how much fuel they consume. A small block V8 can produce upwards of 2000hp with no induction if fuel is not a concern. You really need to pay attention to that because the true way to judge an engine is its Fuel to Hp ratio as well as its reliability. It doesn't matter if the engine is a 4cylender or a 16. The Bugatti veyron for instance is a W16 that only produces 600hp without it's turbos and gets 3.6 mpg where as the Cadillac 16 develops 1000hp and gets 20mpg.
If i'm not wrong, the aventador made a 20% fuel consumption improvement ofer the older murcielago and gallardo. A normal driving fuel consumption for Aventador is as low as 13.8l/ 100km, koenigsegg for example can do 16l/100km. It's actually not bad and for 700hp (for koenigsegg even more hp) this is a damn good result.
@popace Both Lamborghini & Ferrari did make statements that they would start to pay closer attention to fuel economy about 2 years ago & I believe that’s what we’re starting to see now. But GM has had their eyes on this for some time. In any case, as you can see there is a relation.

@brazilman07 The Grand Sport vette has Z06 body panels, spoiler splitter, and brakes. It DOES NOT have any ZR1 parts to "lighten it". Also, the Corvette is just as good or better as a daily driver than that lambo. Why you would want to drive either car in winter weather is beyond me though.

I would rather get an '04 Lamborghini Gallardo over all 3 of these... You can pick up a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo for as low as $80,000 now!... Which is $20,000-$30,000 cheaper then a new C6 Z06 (Around $100,000 before options and taxes)... Plus you can use the Gallardo everyday, and in the Winter here in Ontario...
Just my opinion, but if I had to choose a Vette.. I would get a GrandSport Corvette because of the ZR1 parts into a lighten Vette + You can get the Grandsport in a Targa Version (Y)

Ferrari puts insane quality into how they manufacture all of their cars, "BUT" I'd be more than a little ticked if I paid a couple hundred grand for a car that's struggling to keep up with a 4-banger. Don't forget that Ferrari developes engines for F1 too, so building a monster engine car for Ferrari is the slightest problem. Ferrari rather follows the EU super cars masterpiecing, meaning that they can squeeze out 500hp+ WITHOUT any turbos and superchargers. Both other cars here in this vid are supercharged/turboed so... Ferraris have plenty of HP headroom ;) You can even make a Gallardo with twin turbos have 1000-1500hp, doing 9 sec in drag on street tires so... :)

@popace Yes but look at how much fuel they consume. A small block V8 can produce upwards of 2000hp with no induction if fuel is not a concern. You really need to pay attention to that because the true way to judge an engine is its Fuel to Hp ratio as well as its reliability. It doesn't matter if the engine is a 4cylender or a 16. The Bugatti veyron for instance is a W16 that only produces 600hp without it's turbos and gets 3.6 mpg where as the Cadillac 16 develops 1000hp and gets 20mpg.

If i'm not wrong, the aventador made a 20% fuel consumption improvement ofer the older murcielago and gallardo. A normal driving fuel consumption for Aventador is as low as 13.8l/ 100km, koenigsegg for example can do 16l/100km. It's actually not bad and for 700hp (for koenigsegg even more hp) this is a damn good result.
