  • Hey Dan I need a kit for my new e maxx how much I m gonna expend

  • @777VAZ Here you go.

    204.186.93.64/Products-NewE-maxx.htm

  • so im thinking about getting these for my e maxx are they good are they worth it how much of a diff over stock titans how good is acceleration how long do they last? im reall thinking about getting these for my e maxx

  • I certainly think so. Power is more than doubled over the stock Titan motors. Plus they're water proof, tough and much cheaper than converting the motor and ESC to brushless.

    Dan

  • where do you get the 700 ho motors ago

  • @Spassvoegelhoch3

    Right here...

    204.186.93.64/NewE-Maxx-700-HOConversion.htm

  • This looks beyond all beastliness. I hope to be ordering the motor mount and 700-HO motors for my e-maxx. What gearing would you recommend for 35 mph or so? and at 35 mph gearing, would it still have plenty of torque off the line? Thanks!

  • @Luigithepwner The 25T gearing that comes with the truck seem to satify most drivers. And remember, the video was made with NiMH packs. LiPo is even faster.

  • @milemarkers Well crap... Mine came with only 17 tooth pinions. Do you guys sell 25 tooth pinions at Kershaw Designs? BTW I use NiMH too, so that doesn't matter. If I blow a pack, Elite 5000's will do the job.

  • @milemarkers Yep, right here...

    204.186.93.64/Pinions.htm

  • this kit is great pushed my e maxx past 38mph!

  • Hey Dan Whats top speed like with these?

  • A bit past 30 mph, but with break-neck acceleration.

  • how much more torque and power does this put out than stock. is it the same with 2 8.4 7 cell 3000.

  • @TheChaseisbeast

The motors put out more than double the power of stock brushed motors. NiMH packs do ahve some toruble making the most of the motors available power. The stock batteries do not do well with supplying enough amperage. Good NiMH packs do rather well though. LiPo is another leap in power.

    Dan

  • where can i buy this online?

  • @jakevlogs1

    Right here...

    204.186.93.64/NewE-Maxx-700-HOConversion.htm

  • how fast

  • can this kit fit on the model 3906 e maxx

  • @mr1993bowman

Yes. But I must package it with the mounting plate for the 3906 E-maxx. Contact me at Dan @ kershawdesigns . com if interested.

  • @milemarkers thanks!

  • hi whet is the top speed after the moters where in staled. would you reckemnd them . how good are they 4 bashing n jumps

    Thanks

  • with the stock titans when i hit a jump the front end stats trying to go down even when i hit the throttle.its to late to ask this because i ordered these yesterday but can i keep the truck level or even do backflips with these motors because i broke 2 sets o bulkheads and skid plates so i really need 2 solve that problem...PLEASE REPLY!!!

  • I would think that, since the 700-HO kit comes with pinions that gear for more torque, you would be able to better get the front end to lift at take off. A little punch of the throttle should do the trick.

    Dan

  • i need some good advice im looking at the t-maxx 3.3 or the e-maxx with the 16.8v i want to know some opions on what to get im confused and before spendng that much money i need to know what some peoples opion might be and does anyone know how fast actuall speed the e-maxx is with out the conversion

  • hi it's me rickard wallin i was thinking of buying xerun 150a 8xl motor but i'm thinking of 700 ho becuse i heared jetlag2222 that they last long but does 25t handle good so i can go mud water snow much not only for speed

  • Yes, the 25T pinion seems to put the motyor wight into their powerband. You get a small gain in top speed and huge gains in torque.

They motors are water proof, so they do well in the snow/mud.

    Dan

  • i have order the 700 ho kit for e-maxx 3905 but i orderd it yesterday(friday) but when will i get them?

  • are they hard to install them into an e-maxx 3905

  • Not at all. The kit comes with an 8 page manual, fully illustrated with color pictures that shows each step. Very straight forward.

    Dan

  • Ok thanks I think im going to get them

  • whats better for speed the 970 or the 700

  • The 970's by a hair. But then again, I would not try to install the 970's in an E-maxx 3905. The big motors hanging over the froward biased tranny would throw off the steering response. Besides, the 700-HO's have about 95% of the power of the 970's.

    Dan

  • @milemarkers How and where can I buy this kit?

  • @ronik051709 Right here...

    204.186.93.64/NewE-Maxx-700-HOConversion.htm

    Dan

  • This kit rules! Just fitted mine and its much more powerful than stock titans and run-times haven't been affected much at all! WINNER!

  • so what kinda top speed I can expect with this setup, with 7 cell packs

  • The kti makes for only a few extra moph top speed when compared to stock. The really power goes into the crazy fast acceleration as seen in the video. Rolling wheelies are easily done with good NiMhH packs.

    Dan

  • Awesome setup you can check my video, its just as powerfull if not more tourqier then any of the Novak Hv stuff, I can kill a Novak 6.5 Hv setup the whole way.. Great stuff .. No heat problems either unlike the Novak garbage which get extremely hot

  • How much run time would you get with the stock 3300mah batterys with the 700 and 650s?

  • u know were i can buy wheelie bars from?

  • gime gime gime!!!thats such a cool conversion.1 question though...can you use the stock esc an trani?

  • Have you ever tried one of these in a Slash? Will it even fit?

  • No. Unfortunately, the 700-HO is just too big around to fit the Slash.

  • can the standard savage esc handle 14 cells and duel 700 HO? if not duel could it do 14 cells and single? if it cant handle tho also what speed control would you recommend?

  • how long do the batts last?

  • Depends on the batteries. 4500 mAh Elite cells I sell last about 10 miuntes. I've heard from customers with giant LiPo packs that they get 1/2hr + from their packs.

  • only 10 minutes!!! drat! i knew there was a catch!

  • Comment removed

  • Do you have any videos of the Revolver 650s?

  • No sorry, I do not. I can tell you that they are mildly faster than the Titan (1-2 mph) with a tough more torque.

    Dan

  • Im getting these but i want a new speed controller because i have burnt up 2....so wats a good one to use with these?

  • The Novak Super Duty is VERY strong ESC. They can be [purchased at the web site along with the kit.

    Dan

  • alright cool...will it work with the titans untill i get the engines?

  • Absolutely!

    Dan

  • Sweet thanks

  • is the Evx-2 on the website the new waterproof one??

  • Yes, it is.

  • How would you say the 700 h.o. motors match up against a velineon brushless system?

  • Me, I have never had a brushless system in my EMaxx.

But I CAN tell you that these are insanely fast.

I'd say, try these, if you don't like them, I'm sure you could work something out.

  • I've installed a dual velineon system into an E-maxx with it running on 2 x 7 cell packs. The dual 700-HO's would have blown it away. I can estimate that the Velineon system on 3S LiPo would be a touch behind the 700-HO's and the dual Velineon on dual 3S LiPo would blow away the 700-HO's. factor in the cash outlay though.

  • Thanks for the helpful information!

  • Is there any difference between the kershaw designs 650 revolver motors and the titan 550s? Enough of a diff. worth spending the $50 or are the 700 ho's the way to go?

  • If you are looking for huge power, without a doubt go for the 700-HO's. The 650's are more if you are looking for a mild incerase in power and want to conserve run time.

  • If i was goin to purchase the kit, which pinion should i get with it? 24 or 26t.

  • If you are a speed freak and have large areas to open up the car, I'd get the larger pinion. If you bash offroad with lots of obstacles or like brisk acceelration, get the smaller pinion.

By the way, the choices have now been upgraded to 24 or 25T brass gears.

  • Is the conversion easy to install on the stock e-maxx 3905?

  • Yes, the kit comes with a fully illustrated color instruction manual.

  • If I was to run these in my 16.8 emaxx with 4700 8.4 Volt 7 cell SPC(good kind) batteries. What would be my top speed and what would be my runtime?

    THanks

  • Hey! Yammy! It's rawfuls! :D

Your speed would be very fast :D Along with your runtime. It will probably be lasting longer than any cheaper batteries, as they will have more lasting effect, if you take care of them correctly.

  • ya im actually gonna buy a slash now so the kershaws have to wait lol. i will probably go BL with the slash before anything else. LOL

    later rawfuls

    yammyboy123 or yammyboy360

  • Heh, aw. These kershaw beasts are amazing. I just can't get over how it's insanely fast, for such a small motor (well, not small heh. Small compared to a real car ;))

  • I don't currently even own an emaxx but i'd consider getting one just to fit these motors and combine them with 2 x 2s lipo

  • Looks like a really cool upgrade, I just hate that the EVX-2 is defective. I'm waiting on my third one right now. It also has destroyed to of my batteries in the process.

  • Awesome car! Awesome video! Awesome sound effects!

  • Expect a stock 16.8V E-maxx with the conversion to hit right around 35 mph and get there quickly.

  • With the right gearing do you think it could hit 40 or 45?

  • If you were to use the optional 2 speed, and get overdrive gearing, yes.

  • Sweet thanks....ill be getting this upgrade as soon as i can

  • cool!

im going to get the 700-ho, and thats about the speed of a single vxl with 3s lipo!

    yeawhoo!!!

  • how fast will it go?
