  • when are you going to start doing porn

  • I just love you, Criss.

  • Beautiful paintings!

  • I look forward to seeing more of your paintings

  • So, when will you have more paintings for sale? :)

  • where is the link to some of your auctions? or at least your ebay name so we can keep an eye out for your paintings. i would like to have one.

  • If you are interested in what space might be seen like you might also like to have a look into M.C. Escher's works. At first glance nothing about space? Well, space might be more correclty described by hyperbolic geometry and that leads to some realy strange projections to make acturally sense.

google m.c. escher angels and demons if interested.

Roger Penrose wrote prominently about the concepts in The road to reality. Just in the case you like to go one step further with being a nerd...

  • Thank you Chriss, I'm uploading a video now and adding it as a response.

  • I love your work, it is very good, I must say. Please do more.

  • Wow, Christiona, you are very talented. Cool!

  • Hey they look great. You might actually be able to make a little money on them I hope.

  • Nice work. Thanks for showing the progression in time lapse. It was interesting to see. I wonder if you've considered using plaster for texturing in some of the places you chose to use tinfoil. You can accomplish a lot with a 5 dollar bag of 5 minute easy sand. (means it drys in 5) You can spatter, brush it on, carve it, shape it, sand it smooth it, remove it... If you want to avoid getting it one areas, masking tape works. You can also tint the Spackle and even add metallic components...

  • Fucking awesome.

  • Would that be the Larry Niven book "Protector"? He is probably my favorite SF author. Nice paintings BTW!

  • You look pretty good at it.

  • You're beautiful, intelligent, talented AND an atheist? Damn! I am somewhat envious. The paintings are wonderful! Thank you for sharing!

  • how much did they sell for?

  • I went to college to study art ,But sh*t you're good

this kinda video reminds me of why love ZOMGitscriss.

  • Well, I think Space sucks.

But I find your activity warm and appealing.

  • Cat! And it's Caturday! Yay!

  • You started paining in November? Wow. Looks like you are doing this since a long time. Very good. Hope you have fun with it and found good homes for them. ;)

  • Space is my favourite thing to see paintings of

  • So how did the auction go?

  • did you buy the paint materials in aldi or lidl? :P

  • Next time paint a kitty!

  • Crissy, idk what's more beautiful, you mind or your appearance :)

  • Purple is your favorite color? Did I catch that? Damn straight it is!

    Space inspires you? Damn right!

Wait what was this video about again?

    PS-cats puke too much.

  • @ZOMGitsCriss do you still celebrate christmas? I do because most of the specials are about santa anyway. What you said about the moons made me wonder when we will be able to detect moons orbiting planets in other stellar systems that will be awesome

  • I hope this wonderful woman collects a fortune for her great paintings. For all people who have negative comments to post, ya'll are likely just prairie pansies or envious of the smart woman.

  • shaved or bush? the cat...

  • So how much did you make from the paintings? Just curious

  • Epsilon Eridani was the system I chose in my first science fiction novel, "Keepers of the Gate," published by Doubleday in 1976. I made up a planet called Epsilon Eridani III from which the alien Proteps. . .Well, never mind. I have only 257 characters remaining---oops, make that 209. . .

  • ur hot! and so is your work!

  • Awesome!

  • Wow. good job!

  • You may be a militant atheist, but you have artistic talents! Nice drawings of space, must have took ages.

  • Comment removed

  • Aww your cat's adorable, and wow your paintings are amazing. It's cool how much thought and work you put into them, great job.

  • Being a space geek, I really like your paintings. You definitely have talent.

  • we need more cool people.

  • You're an amazing artist:)

  • Humm any idea on how to remove paint from a cat? I was painting my kitchen...Yeah cat was helping..He step in the paint and then run like hell...was easy to find him I follow foot prints in carpet...And on dresser...And bed...

  • @ZOMGitsCriss...those bids aint bad so far, im quite curious to see the final bids.

...imagine if you started painting some nude self portraits...?$?$?...

i would like 10% for giving you the idea.

  • @adrewk 500$ for some circles and rocks. Shit.

  • @kriptonis its all about the "artist"...

if she took my advice and painted herself naked on the canvas, she would make a fortune from her obsessed subscribers.

and it wouldnt even matter if she painted herself as a stick figure with a couple of coin traced boobs...these freaks would buy it!

  • @GodVlogger ...trace

  • Space! Awesome! Love space. Way more interetung a motif than say, the quaint Bavarian countryside or some such boring nonsense. Odd that, since space is so vastly empty. But then, even the atoms comprising the Bavarian countryside (or even the center of New York City) consist almost wholly of empty space. Hey, maybe you should paint some atoms, they look sort of like solar systems.

Oh, and I should mention that this extra view comes courtesy of VoxNeruda.

  • You are beautiful

  • I *was* wondering when you would stop talking about race and religion and get all sexy with us again talking about science!! :) The paintings are wonderful, Criss. Already out of my price range, unfortunately. But this is a great idea and I hope you love it and continue.

  • I love you Criss so much.

  • I wish there were more girls like you on this planet. I WOULD BE HAPPY NOW!!! I love astronomy and I can't find a girlfriend that is good at astronomy... Gosh... I think I'm in love :)

  • Someone railed against a kind of disproportionate or unearned praise for Cris, and implied hormones as the sole reason. There is some of that, but seriously, we all know she's married and faithful, so hopefully no one gets delusional about it. That out of the way, she's done much to promote critical thinking, so she's earned it, cute or not.

  • Beautiful paintings and adorable cats :)

  • Wow! Love these. You are so talented. :)

  • Whoever disliked this...fuck you. Great work btw

  • You are just perfect in every way conceivable to me :)

  • We have so much in common, it's ridiculous. Great art Cristina.

  • Comment removed

  • She paints, awww look she paints. aaaawwww cats there so cute.

  • I would buy an expensive coffee table book full of glamor shots of you Cristina!!!! :) Also that asteroid belt one is my favorite. Keep up the good work!

  • I am really amazed how well painted they are, i paint myself... and it took me a long time to paint that well. *applause for you*

  • you are such a cute little nerd

  • @Theretarcrew

art makes you a nerd? how so?

  • @guitar19904 Painting about space makes you a huge nerd. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

  • @Theretarcrew i so love this gal... THE PERFECT WOMAN!

  • Atheist or not, God bless you and have a wonderful New Year.

  • One thing I like about most non-believers comments on forums like this is that there are both positive and negative comments listed. Not like some religious site or some political site where they have to be edited before posted. Most non-believers will allow dissent and even groundless baseless attacks upon their content.

There is nothing to lose and it shows a more realistic perspective of the audience.

  • Super deal! Another real talent of a talented person!

  • Very good and surprising that you can do art.

  • Ieeei, cred că ți-ai mai revenit puțin dpdv al greutății. Cel puțin așa pare.

  • Nice to see another side. Hopefully other popular YTers will give us a glimpse of their hobbies too. AronRa cake decorating? PotHoler54 MMA training camp? It's all good.

  • Lovely work. Just so you know it's probably cheaper for you to sell your work on Etsy. The place is designed for artists and costs 20 cents per listing. I use it for my jewelry.

  • Your paintings are beautiful!

  • Good god, have you read these comments? I wonder how many of your subscribers are male and more to the point how many of them have ever done it with a woman (a real one not imaginary)

I enjoy most of your videos but honestly, you ain't no painter and now im going to have to unsubscribe as this level of worship; just because you have titties and an ounce of sense makes me very uncomfortable.

please feel free to post angry comments as i shan't be reading them. x

  • @pisswig Yeah, well she's not only clever, but also a hot beauty, very hot.

Sorry to be male. She just gives me a boner and makes my day and although I am not into paintings, I would love to buy a painting of her, even if its crap.

But please dont get mad at me, I love all woman.

  • @koertje You people are SOOOOOOOOOOOO pathetic! You guys are as brainwashed as any group of people I've ever seen! You guys seriously need to get a life and get off the computer sometimes. She's a pretty girl, but geez....it's the internet. lol.

  • Criss you look like you smell fantastic!

  • i just clicked into the link and I think you can make a lot of money from this hobby criss LOL

  • =)

  • I love the paintings, but i haz no money -_-,

  • your such a good painter oh my gosh! XD

you have such talent criss in all you do :)

  • I wish i could bid but the cheapest one is around 280 us and i live in sweden and 280$ is around 1 934 SEK its alot :( and i dont think i could buy since im in sweden :(

  • Comment removed

  • I think saying you don't know if its sustainable or not even matters. Selling them is perhaps a way of making some money back plus making room for more paintings. Much like my tesla coils, started as a hobby, then started selling them, to fuel my hobby. If they don't sell reduce price and keep painting.

  • What type of paint are you using? This makes me want to bust out my oil paints again.

  • I like your balcony

  • Damn, these are really good.

  • Well, have to say, this is a rather nice way to make (so far) 1600$ having some great fun painting

Still quite some days to go!

  • Very nice paintings. They are evidence that you can use both sides (the rational and the intuitive) of your brain. Both work hand-in-hand to make sense out of things. Thanks for sharing.

  • So, I did eat too much and I did spend the holidays in the hospital. I wish I'd seen this video sooner! Anyways, holy crap, these are so beautiful! I hope that more will go on sale in the future. I'm going to have to save up a bit!

  • You should paint some of these every month.

  • Hang on, artistic feelings come from the same side of the brain that religious feelings do. And opposite to the side where logical and scientific thoughts comes from.

So you do believe in God!

  • @Spirgauks "Hang on, artistic feelings come from the same side of the brain that religious feelings do."

what does this tell you about where religion came from? at least criss' work is based on reality.

  • @Rabsputin "what does this tell you where religion comes from? at least criss' work is based on reality."

Hmm, so you really think the $ value vs aesthetic value of Zomgits paintings on ebay really represent reality? Or does it only represent the subjective fantasies of her fans? Now that's where religion comes from, mate.

  • Cats!!! Love them, have always had them and can't imagine not having one \°/

  • @peyo001

Cats rule the Universe. FACT !

  • @ZOMGitsCriss You got it :-)

  • @ZOMGitsCriss No, actually the universe is controlled by some other furry critters known as Niblonians. Look it up.

  • @ZOMGitsCriss Paint a picture of cats ruling the universe. Swag.

  • @ZOMGitsCriss

Love the paintings but it looks like they've all been sold (which I guess is pretty great news.. but also means I can't buy one now!).

Roughly how much were they by the way?

And when are you going to make some more videos?

They're so funny, always clever and sometimes just damn weird... I reckon it'll take me another couple of days to see them all and then I'll be getting some serious withdrawal symptoms.

Please God, ask Cristina to make some more videos.

    xx

  • @sc400575

Doh!! I just saw this video again - cos I love hearing you talk about your paintings - and seeing them... and remembered you said you were going to do more vids.

New year resolution to self... must listen more!

  • @sc400575 the last time I looked they were 400 to 500 bucks which was a a week or so ago so im guessing they went to at least 700 a piece.

  • I am tunisia780Marshall and this is my message to confirm that I do exist even though I am new to EBay...hope to hear from you soon............Marshall

  • Fucking cats! Gotta love them. Anyways, I love the paintings. <3 Criss

  • Well, with over 3,000 exoplanet candidates/confirmations, it looks like you will be very busy for a while Criss! Hope it goes well.

  • Holy shit has anyone seen how much the paintings are going for? Between the 4 paintings it's over 1500$ .

  • Sell your cat

  • Wow! Those are really, really good for only having been painting for such a short time. I'm also glad to see that I'm not the only one who uses her dishes to form outlines for circular objects.

  • ...and yet Criss remains beautiful even while painting alien landscapes at quantum speeds.

  • w00t

  • These are so amazing! I would definitely buy one or more of these if I actually had money...

  • Sevas tra

  • I always appreciate watching someone create art. it is a talent i do not have but I like to see what others can do with their skills. Enjoy your painting and thanks for sharing with us!

  • Wow. Just wow. Your paintings are breathtaking. I suddenly have the urge to start painting myself.

Though, to be honest, I'll probably take the lazy route and just colour it on Photoshop. I also tend to make mistakes with colour, so that would be safer.

  • You're good at this...I'm not nearly that good *sad face*

  • :)

  • Hmmm... is it odd for me to want more cats in your videos?

  • Oh snap! Your paintings are pretty great!

  • maybe i subscribed a bit too late but i didn't know you painted.... i think that's awesome.

  • Was 'ne Technik :-)

  • One of them already at $520, awesome.

  • your paintings have more soul than most Christians have.

  • Happy Winter Solstice

  • I would love one of these, but they are already out of my price range. I really couldn't afford more than $250 and the cheapest one is going for $280 with 6 days left in auction. One of them is already going for $520. I wouldn't be surprised if you make $1,000 each. They are awesome. My personal favorite is the asteroid belt.

  • Wow you painted extremely well for someone just starting out. I think it inspires me to give painting a try. I already do photo editing so it might cross over well for me if i decide to give it a try.

  • This was incredible. It was such a joy to see your painting process, And you produce such beautiful art, please keep it up.

  • those paintings are lovely. I love that u recorded while creating them.

  • Wow your paintings are fantastic! Keep it up there are an awful lot of solar systems to depict!

  • Your art is wonderful. Your keen intellect, expansive knowledge and artistic talent blends together with such depth. This is a wonderful holiday video and so creative and fun! This is my favorite video of yours. It shares a soft side of you that is very appealing and refreshing. The editing, format and effects gives me the rush of warmth.

  • something about your videos makes my metaphorical soul metaphorically smile

  • ...... a naked self portrait? yes?

  • Holy crap. $1610 so far from paintings she wasn't originally even going to sell.

  • @fuduzan5562 I predict she will make over 1k for each painting by the end of the auction.

  • @fuduzan5562 goes a lot farther in romania as well.

  • The shots of the art being painted was pretty cool.

  • You're a doll.

  • Criss, I don't mean to sound too (much), but your approach to life really is awesome. You have an appreciation of things that really is admirable. Thanks for taking the time to make videos.

  • Those paintings are amazing!! I wish I could buy them :(

  • looks like you got some ideas from the street art seen in las vegas. very nice by the way.

  • you are a pretty good painter

  • Your cat is a very skilled painter

  • omg you're amazing

  • You're good!

  • Richard Dawkins' the importance of doing useless things

  • hahaha gotta love an atheist critiquing their art.

  • I'd buy these if I had money :p

  • I love seeing you paint - I dig seeing your process

  • pisces....scorpio?

  • I think Mass Effect would be your type of game =P

  • HOLY SHIT IT'S A CAT!!!

  • congratulations

  • Although I love space I'd rather have a painting of you.

  • These are your first paintings!? You're good...

  • Wow pretty cool. and I learned something here. and Have a happy Holiday's. because of you I found a lot of great people thru your videos thanks

  • You're pretty fucking cool.

  • they're really cool looking, very nice

  • This was really cool

    It made me happy

  • Hey! Those are good, Criss! You've got some real potential as a space artist :)

    N.

  • your very talented, i hope you keep painting

  • One of these has a $520 bid on it already with 7 days to go, awesome.

  • I have to admit that your artwork is really good!

  • Purple is my favorite color too!!! And I never knew you were such an amazing artist!

  • I love science inspired art! Good job!

  • Awww trying to pawn shit on Youtube?? EPIC FAIL.

  • @michael616joaquin $1610+ != FAIL, never mind EPIC FAIL. Do you shout at Google's adverts as well? I suspect you think you're some kind of anti-capitalist because you think everything should be free. If so, a better description would be that you just don't like having to pay for things. Look, even if capitalism were replaced by some other system, there would still be limits on consumption, total and personal. There would still need to be methods of allocation of resources.

  • @ukeuwatch I think you need to take the sand out of your vagina..

  • @michael616joaquin Oh, I'm devastated. Such eloquence.

  • @ukeuwatch oh a fanboy..shocker!!!

  • where did you learn to paint?

  • Unsubscribing for obvious reasons.

  • @Subparanon yep..

  • @Subparanon What "obvious reasons"?

  • @mikesheen741 Inability to deal with guilt, moral objection to requests for money (it's his money, damn it, not anyone else's, his, hisssss, yess, yessss). That's my guess.
