@Hitasssss No kidding. At least I am trying to help promote lithuanian. I look forward to seeing your learn Lithuanian videos promoting the beautiful lithuanian language and great culture of lietuva. Thanks for wtaching and commenting!
@FantaziKKa I apologize that my LT is so bad. But I just want to help people learn a little Lithuanian so when they visit Lithuania they can say a few words. I loved living in LT. It was great. Sventu Kaledu!
@woltersworld Ok dude.. a question for curiosity sake.. you, as native english speaker, which language do you think is harder to learn Lithuanian or Japanese?
Cause im trying to learn Japanese and its a freakin hell to learn.. Is it the same with you trying to learn my language?
@Freemmaann i would say japanese as having to learn a new "alphabet" and such makes it much more difficult. Lithuanian is only hard because of all of the different endings/cases/tenses :) (you know just those ;)
but i would say neither of them are easy that is for sure. good luck with the japanese! its a cool language to learn because it is so different than european languages
aciu! a lithuanian friend of mine wrote all the words down for me, some i had remembered and she filled in the rest :) I think she has spent too many years in portugal (forgot her lithuanian a bit ;) have great day! thanks for the help!
thanks... i couldnt remember exactly what it was and that is the word that came up, it sounded wrong when i was saying it but i couldnt remember the right word. protingas was the same way, i remembered protingas but when i looked it up it gave me a different word for smart/clever. but i stuck with protingas... .)
thank you, its nice :)

how do you write 'pretty' and 'smart' for a girl?
do all adjectives change depending on if they are used for male/female?
thx man!:)
TheDavidiscrazy 2 years ago
the endings change for masculine, feminine, and then plural and what case you are using :) fun stuff huh?
grazi is beautiful for a girl
protinga is smart for a girl
tu esi protinga/grazi (you are smart/pretty) ji yra grazi/protinga (she is pretty/smart)

You're welcome.
And "thin" can be "plonas" too, when we talk about things. Eg. thin lips - plonos lūpos; thin rope - plona virvė.

awesome help. aciu! sventu kaledu!

"Kūdas" isn't good word of "thin". "Lieknas" would be better.

Small correction.
Trumpas in Lithuanian defines length e.g. trumpa virvė (short rope) if u want to define hight use žemas instead.
