  • lol "These crabs are gonna kill me... :D"

  • Good shuff. I live in Houston and have finnaly found a great & challenging hill.

  • @1badworld I live in Houston as well. Where is this hill you've found? The few I have found are steep, but not very far. I just started running hills and would love a challenge.

  • I tried this and I got swooped by a magpie. -_-

  • this is proper training...far better than that kettlebell shit...though KB has its place, as my door stopper.

  • this is great!! I'm gonna do this tomorrow.

  • That hill is nothing, you should check the one around my house!

  • YAYYYY

  • Comment removed

  • like any body bodybuilders (small shoulders)

  • i do em for football too, harder then it looks

  • We do hill's in football wont going up the hill give you power and running down give you speed?

  • Great workout!

  • Yeah good set!!!!

  • @darriem 357 get hos system it's frikin awesome or if you can't afford it it's only 67 bucks but if you can't then gather information online and you should take care ofmyour nutrition to so yea

  • These are great things to be doing. You must always switch up your exercise routines, as our bodies get use to what we are doing. If you are able to do these a couple times of week you will notice an improvement in your body. You can find some kind of hill in any town or city you live in that would work for this.

  • hey jeff, im 16 and ive been struggling trying to find a successful way to lose body fat. my body fat is 18% and my goal is to get to about 10% so i can see my abs. you seem to really know what your talking about and i was wondering if you had any solution to my problem, idk whether to do high intensity cardio such as heavy bag workouts and sprints or to take 40-50 min, slow jogs. id really appreciate some advice, thanx

  • this is actually a really good way of keeping fit uno, if anyone wants to run on a treadmill for an hour a day go right ahead im spendin about 5 - 10 minutes doing this FUN condition training with a hell of a lot better results!

  • How many sets should be performed for a GOOD Cardio workout??

  • @mahadeon as much as you can handle

  • just do this 1 set? is it enough?

  • QUESTION!

Is sprinting a good compliment during muscle building workouts?

If I workout my body 5 days a week

when is a good time to add sprints?

Because I really want to be cut and ripped

  • I love this kind of workout! You did good!

  • good stuff!

  • =) this is the first time i see Jeff EXHAUSTED!!...lol

  • Crazy!!! =)

  • great new workout now if only i didn't live in england wen da weather is gettin wet n muddy id try dis thx alot "be vigilant against dog poo lol!"

  • this is the stuff i did in basic training in the army. but it didnt stop for a good hour and a half

  • I tried this yesterday as many rounds as i could possibly do in 25 minutes...i felt sick and almost threw up several times on my way home:D This is truly a killer!!!!!!

  • Jeff in the description you say see if you can do 3-4 rounds without taking a break from exhaustion, do you mean this: Round 1 = Sprints Round 2 = Bear Crawls Round 3 = Backwards runs Round 4 = Crab walks or do you mean: Round 1 = All four moves Round 2 = Repeat Round 3 = Repeat Round 4 = Repeat Thanks for the help anyone who answers this.. I'm guessing just once cause that's all you did and you were out of breath lol, but just clarifying thanks again.
  • You should have went down backwards LMAO j/k. Nice video

  • this is a good wrestling workout...

  • Absolutely fantastic! You are in fatnastic shape, lean, impressiive muscularity and I for one would be thrilled if I could develope into half as awesome as you!

  • Good stuff, I like conditioning drills like this. Check out my sled drag, sledgehammer vid.

  • this is torture. 3-4 rounds of this? I will DIE!

  • Is that boothe memorial park!?

  • I somebody sees you during the exercise at 2:32/4:00 he will think u nuts hehehe

  • Hey Jeff, do you think you could do a Marine Corps workout or some kind of special Ops workout? thanks

  • @theBrownman28 They use his AthleanX system

  • @KissTfur Really? I thought there was talks of using a crossfit-esque type of workout.

  • Jeff, Love the Hill from Hell workout, I think i will incorporate this on a flight of stairs for my clients. Great workout!

  • Just finished week 1 of the Athlean program ... ill be sure to email you my results when i lean and ripped

  • @Gazzoy Ha, I just finished my first week of Athlean X as well. Good Luck! I think this is an amazing program. I'm doing workouts I've never done before and the meal plan is awesome as you already know.

  • @macuser5555 Yeah man good luck to you too, meal plan is totally awesome plus the new excerises are amazing. I can't wait for the week 4 challenge myself

  • Hill my ass. Come to Scotland. We've got hills. And put some clothes on man. You're wrecking my concentration.

  • nice workout Jeff the last rep u should roll down just for fun lol

  • these crabs are gonna kill me . . .? Nice choice of words lol, Keep up the good work Jeff

  • This hill running workout is mostly a conditioning workout - for muscle toning and calorie burning. I think repeated full-speed sprints on the flat would be better for building powerful fast-twitch muscle. I suppose if you don't do this workout really often (mix it up with other conditioning training) the jog down the hill shouldn't be too hard on the knees...

  • I know this would leave u out of breath

  • ESA WEÁ HACE RECAGAR WN.

    FELICITACIONES.

  • Jeff has officially lost his mind n i'm lovin' it.

  • killer

  • killer workout...!

  • Thats freaking bootcamp training.

  • weres the lunges and sidestep lol

  • try doing front flips going down the hill

  • basically, Royal Marines rule.

  • @jackthenorthern second that brudda

  • lol the cameraman is like "you know what, i just got a new zoom lens so i thought i should just test it out from right here..."

  • LOL he said "these crabs are gonna kill me" and then smiled.... he knew....

  • Jeff, how tall are you?

  • @Teenssj2 4'10

  • @xrisp He kiiinda looks a biiiiiit taller than 4 tbh

  • the camera man is like "Hell No, I will film from here" LOL

  • The retro walk is torture

  • that really does look like a "hill" of a workout, haha.

  • "these crabs are gonna kill me"=)))

  • hey..nice tutorials. i have a question, what powders/pills have you used so far?

  • Man i love the opening song XD just PUMPS U UP =D i kno its a strange question but would you mind posting the theme song up Jeff =) Hahahhaha =P I'm also wondering wat type of genre this music is O_O what type of rock? o.o

  • Hey I was wondering if it is possible for a boxer to increase his punching power without loosing his speed, legs work etc. I mean is it only based on fghter's weight? Or is it something you can train?

  • @Smierciucha you can increase speed and power in your punching by doing something similar to plyometrics, only with pushups. Like clap pushups and other things of that nature.

  • Hey look, Jeffs a crab,

    A tee hee

  • Nice work on the crab walks!

    Great workout.

  • Great. Remind me military PT. You could add duck walk (nice quads burning xD)

Anyway big thanks from France :)

  • this looks so silly :D:D

    anyways, sure is great

  • this workout is bad for the knees

  • @moddingpc In what way do you mean?

  • @kkrizzz

running down the hill you cant compensate your body weight as good as running in a flat place. this means your knee joints will get a really heavy load which will damage them for long term (over years).

  • @moddingpc so is everything these days

this is a perfectly natural, functional exercise

the way the body is ment to move... what it is designed for

  • @markgoffeney

do sprints in flat areas, not up and down a hill.

the elite sprinters of the world have a better look than jeff and they dont run up hills.

  • @moddingpc

lol elite sprinters are genetic freaks and wud look better then 99% of people on a diet and program consisting of mcdonalds and the ab circle pro. just because sprinters dont do it doesnt mean u shudnt, sprinters goal is to get as fast as possible, the average joe just wants to look better and hills are superior for that

  • @MerkaMage

no its not superior. why should it?

did you ever do flat sprints and hill sprints? i did and flat sprints are better for me. and whats better for me is better for others too because im nothing special.

  • @moddingpc

hills are more metabolically demandiing then flats as there is greater resistance from gravity so u burn more calories for longer, but every1 is different and rely ppl shud try both and see what works best for them

  • @moddingpc Lol? Why should running up a hill be more effective at burning calories than running on a flat surface? If you can't tell the difference maybe you should spend more time at school and less on the internet. I also wonder how you came to the conclusion that one is more effective for you. Did a lot of testing I'm sure. Not. Ever heard of a concept called 'genetics' 'variation' and 'differences'? You're right, you're far from anything special, but that doesn't stop others from being so.

  • @TenguMT

it wanst me who told hill sprints are burning more cal. you should learn how to read... just join a local athletic club like ive done years ago. and then shut the fuck up.

  • @moddingpc You didn't understand what I said at all. On top of that you can't spell, your knowledge of grammar and punctuation is abysmal and you're just trolling with you 'knowledge' which doesn't exist, trying to be smart when a famous celebrity fitness instructor and physician and several other people are telling you you're wrong. So you're a member of a local athletic club, wow, that must give you vast amounts of knowledge on the subject, maybe YOU should start teaching us about fitness?

  • @TenguMT

haha my grammer is quite well since ive recently graduaded with best school degree in our country ^^ its a simple fact that hill sprints do have a damaging effect on your knees, way more than traditional sprints. did you ever learn physics at school?

  • @moddingpc I like how you spelled "grammar" incorrectly.

  • @moddingpc Dude, I'm sorry but you need to stop, first of all its 'grammAR' not 'grammer'. Graduated, not graduaded, and I don't know where you're from, but where I live we don't learn about how hils damage knees in physics, we're more into useful things, like gravity etc. Jeff is a physiotherapist, he knows best whats good for your knees, if he says his workout is, then it is. That's like saying weightlifting is bad for your muscles, or walking is bad for your feet...

  • @TenguMT

Jeff recommends doing one legged squat jumps which will definitely result in knee joint pain. what a well educated physiotherapist...

  • @moddingpc Lol? He also recommends dumbell curls and deadlifts. They're sure gonna cause a lot of muscle pain! Man, he knows nothing about working out! If you can't take the pain go back to the couch and watch some TV, if you're one of those sissies that think a bit of pain in the knees will render them immobile for the rest of their lives.

  • @TenguMT

well just give it time. youll see it in some years :)

  • @moddingpc whats better for you isn't better for everyone else. If flat sprints work good for you stick to them . Personally I prefer sledded sprints. Work with what keeps you on track, but don't criticize others

  • @samauripizzacats101

i dont criticize. tell me where i do.

its simple physics that running down a hill is harder for your knees.

  • @moddingpc lol alright alright. I walk down the hill, but there are a lot of guys that run down to build speed. And the way he's running would not put a whole lot of pressure on the knees. Would you mind explaining the physics you're talking about?

  • @MerkaMage go blow your self

  • @MrDarcyzPP

    if i cud i would

  • @moddingpc theyre professional, endorsed, paid athletes... with trainers doing their nutrition and workouts for them

jef comes up with his and does the reseach about both in his own time... and has his own life to run

them celebrity athletes have all the time in the world to rest and rebuild

  • to make the crabwalk even more effective, you could try and keep your butt in the air :)

  • spänn bögar

  • Even though I like the workout(s), Jeff really seems to have a lot of trouble, everytime he has to run. It seems very unnatural to him. Or maybe that's just because he's big =P

  • @RishiAJ hes not really a runner i dont think

mroe of a ufc fighters build lmao

  • Hill workouts are a real pain, but as always I'm going to try whatever you say. Does the athlean-x program include some of this burst excersises or are you just starting to put them in?

  • Man this hill is a joke , the one by my house goes up to a 70 degree angle, and this guy is out of breathe after going up and down twice? C'mon man im actually dissapointed, you cant promote this shit when you cant make it look easy, thats like a fat guy teaching me how to workout

  • @lilbignoob

If it was easy it wouldn't be much of a workout would it? What is the point of doing something easy? Oh you forgot to mention you could fly like superman too.

  • @lilbignoob i think you should try this with your hill. (Y)

  • @lilbignoob Typical big headed idiot talking. Try and do it, go on, tell me how it went. He DOES make it look easy. Compared to how hard it is, he makes it look really easy. Bet you wouldn't even make it halfway through.

  • @TenguMT Lmao, I play university football, my grandma can make these hill sprints look easy.

  • @lilbignoob No, she can't, and neither can you.

  • @TenguMT Lol your a loser, get off youtube and do something with your life. I got a 36 inch standing vertical im sure I will make you or the guy in the video look like a joke when it comes to athleticism.

  • @lilbignoob Dude, give up and do your ego stroking somewhere else, you're not impressing anyone. Maybe you banged your head against the cealing too many times, maybe you were born retarded, I don't care, just shut up and gtfo.

  • one question jeff.is it ok to work out legs and back in a same day or should i do it seperately, what do u reckon?

  • This is bat poop crazy, I wish I had a hill :(

  • so how many sets one has to do? lol...seriously...will these three minutes be enough....

  • @Immy1993 The info under the video says 3-4 sets. If you live that long...

Thanks Jeff, that was as funny as it was helpful ;-)

  • @baileyrichard0 I think I missed 3-4 sets on purpose. I will not live to see myself complete the second..

  • Hey Jeff

Do you send the athlean X training system to other countries? for example Mexico? or do you have to be in USA to receive it when you buy it?

    Thnaks

  • @krattto Its a digital download, so you don't receive anything in the mail. Its all in PDF format and easy to print off.

  • Tough, efective....cool!!! Thanks Jeff

  • Hes in awesome shape and this is killng him, im in terrible shape, should i write my will?

  • @ToaSt66766 hahaha looooool! cmon man this Jeff gives us all motivation! we need to push through and do it!

  • @ToaSt66766 mate just because he has muscle doesnt mean he is fit, i mean yeah he looks strong but i reckon he was lift things and perform good in a short amount of time, you could be better if you did it more often ;) for sure xx

  • @dwdan He looks "fit" to me. What is your definition of fit? Jeff looks better than most olympic athletes.

  • @dwdan ~ You're totally right! A person may have a beautiful built and yet nto be fit. In this case however, I can see Jack is in impressive fit conditioning. Why do I know that? Did you check the length of the hill and the speed he takes to complete his workout? He does it so well, he makes it look easy than it is. I love Jacks videos which I just discovered last night.

  • @alexgomez2 Ha ha, his name is Jeff not Jack. :-)

  • @macuser5555 ~ Well Sorry about that. I really like his videos and built. I'm now subscribed and plan to look like him. Thank you for the correction!

  • @alexgomez2 JAJAJAJA Jack .

  • @GuitarDreams1 ~ Sorry again and thanks for the correction!

  • @alexgomez2 Jeff buddy... Jeff

  • @afterthefact15 ~ Ok, ok! All you guys kill me! Thank you for the correction!

  • So...that is what it takes to get/stay ripped. You video's always rock.

  • oh ive been looking for a nice leg workout without using addition weights, this is perfect after my knee injuries.

  • killer......gonna try this on the weekend...i have the perfect spot

  • Wow that looks really diffcult, maybe later down the line when I'm in better shape. But I do have your program Jeff its a great program. Thank you for making a concise easy to follow program. Anybody watching this video who is looking for a clear and to the point program to follow, and one that does not limit you, or consume your week; this is the program to follow. I can't wait till I get some more money so I may purchase his new TNT workouts, that concentrate on particular areas of the body.
