My cusin and I will travel to Seattle and stay there for a week in august. I really fell in love with the city after looking at pics of it. We will probably go the Boeing place, attend a Storm basketball game, check out the nature around town, find a place with great view of downtown and maybe go on a whale watch if possible. Really looking forward to visiting this great city.
Seattle is beautiful, all though it is rural, it is the most beautiful city ive traveled to, you get an amazing vibe there, the people are peaceful. Most are stoners, and it is honestly full of friendly people.

@MrDrummer5150 Read my comment about Seattle and you'll change your mind about moving there. Don't make the mistake I made. I wasted a year of my life there.
I went to Seattle and lived there for one year and moved out as fast as I could. The people, especially white people (I'm white) are socially dysfunctional. You don't have friends. You have cliques. They are passive aggressive and they hate Christians. The fake politeness and backtalking is rampant. It is impossible to get along with a native Washingtonian. The cold impersonal behavior wears you out. They have ugly personalities. They make selfishness a virtue. They're the living dead.
@ksm8368 I've been happy living in the South, in California and in the Northeast. When I lived in Seattle, it was a nightmare. Those people aren't normal. They're too fake and malicious. The Seattle Times actually had articles on the front page addressing it. They never warm up to you. And they are likely to talk behind your back. They're the worse liars. It sounds aweful to say, but they're subhuman. I don't think it a coincidence nearly all serial killers come from the Northwest.
Why is everyone fighting whether Portland or Seattle, is "better'? I'm from a small town outside of Portland, and I love Oregon, and Portland, but i've been to Seattle, and I love it too. When i'm older I want to live in Portland or Seattle. (I'm 13)
Seattle is great. If you have a good social life, the cloudy days do not bother you at all. The music scene here is absolutely excellent. Summers are second to none. As a member of portland oregon just 3 hours south. I hate seattle. Portland rarely gets ANYTHING because seatlle is so close. c'mon we have 2,700,000 people living here and a lot of people don't even know where portland is
you're a fucktard. Portland is a small business state with plenty of large businesses as well. Did you forget about this little business called NIKE!? do some research
Wow one company? Have you heard of Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks, Costco, Amazon, Real Networks, Paccar, Nordstrom, or Expedia. So shut the fuck up you Portland douche bag!
you fucking idiot, do your research and watch more than just prillo's videos because clearly that's all you're doing. Did you forget about energy sources, better water, better traffic, better sports. Man that's a big one. Seattle sucks, I mean they suck so bad for sports you even LOST your sonics. Yet, our blazers are top in the west. Oh yes, oregon is amazing for small business, Seattle is horrible for small business. Look up big business here though. You're an idiot. Portland is better
Don't even try to say Portland has better sports than Seattle. We still have the NFL and MLB which blows the NBA away. And Mr. Paul Allen, a Seattle-native, and the owner of your Blazers could easily move the Blazers to Seattle if he wanted to so shut the fuck up! Does Portland have an MLB stadium like Safeco Field or an NFL venue like Qwest Field?...
Has Portland hosted the World's Fair, Goodwill Games, or the World Trade Meetings? Has Portland had any music artists like Jimmy Hendrix, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Sir Mix-a-lot? Does Portland have a building that rises over 600 feet? Cuz in Seattle our tallest building, the Columbia Center is just under 1000 feet. Does Portland have a symbol and attraction such as the Space Needle?...
Does Portland have 4 million people in its metro? With the name Portland, your town has a lousy port that doesn't measure against the Port of Seattle. You can think what you want Jarek4 but the majority of the world recognizes Seattle as a global world-class city and they will agree that Portland is Seattle's little sister.
lmao, you're a fucking idiot. Seattle metro area's population is 3,344,813 not 4 mil and portland is 3 mil. Sure got a big lead on us there. Portland came before seattle, our port goes through the columbia gorge which is harder to traverse then the puget sound. Only reason seattle got big to begin with. Portland AND seattle is house to LOTS of music.
I just need to rip into you here. LMAO SEATTLE SPORTS SUCK! Your seahawks made it to the superbowl ONCE and lost horribly. The mariners are doing jack shit. The sonics sucked so bad they aren't even a team anymore and were moved which is pathetic. What has portland done? Blazers are top in the west right now and won more than the sonics. We have two pac 10 college football teams. The best college baseball team. Your sports sucks and can't compete with portland's. Don't even try to argue that
You idiot, at least Seattle can say it has hosted Major League Baseball and been to the Superbowl. Plus the two Pac 10 teams you are referring to are in Eugene and Corvalis, which are NOT in Portland! Whereas, the University of Washington is in the city of Seattle. You have 1 major league team, that's pathetic.
good god you're an idiot. Corvalis and eugene aer only 1-2 hours away and are close enough. Also we have PSU. The most diverse college in the country when it comes to student body. Which is another thing you can't compete with. Our colleges. Especially when it comes to ohsu. Oh, also. The events I mentioned are fucking a million times better than something set up and only happens a few times. You can do these whenever you want. Just get over it. seattle is over rated
Haha your arguments are moot at best. Water activities? Zoos? College student bodies? Does that really make a city great? Bitch please. You're the douche bag who was originally bashing on Seattle on this video in the first place so don't expect no reaction. Seattle has put the Pacific Northwest on the map so your resentment and hatred towards Seattle makes you look silly. If you love Portland so much go post a video about why it's so great.
first off I didn't say I hated seattle. I said no one knows of portland because seattle undermines us for no reason and steals all the money. Secondly, I said we have better colleges, better sports, can do any sports, better zoos, better aquariums, better food having the best culinary arts institutes, better everything. THAT makes a great city
You've probably never been to portland. So let's see. Portland has so much more to do around it. Florence dunes some of the best in the country for sandboarding and dube buggies, best snowboarding in the country, better surfing, white water rafting, windsurfing capitol of the world, best hang gliding, MORE forest in oregon than wa which is sad, a better aquarium your's sucks so bad, better zoo, dew action sports tour, there are so many more things here. Again, you're a fucktard
An just visit the different neighborhoods, such as, Magnolia, Queen Anne, Bell Town, Pioneer Square, Capitol Hill, Ballard, Fremont, U (University) District, Eastside, Greenwood.
There is lots to see and do, lots of Breweries to visit and Wineries.

im from seattle and now stay in atl and i gotta say that people in seattle are nice you just might not like the weather but if your a down 2 earth person and you dont think your shit dont stink then you will love seattle..oh and also we drive way way better but you will see for your self just dont be goin down our streets doing 10 in a 40 mph zone just cause you see a lil ice ok.
Interesting video, he is a little annoying, but he's giving some good places to go. The Ducks is a fun tour, and the guides are hilarious! I've lived here for 13 years and I hadn't heard of some of the places he mentioned.
basically if you like to get out and not meet one person than seattle is for you. dont come to seattle if you are lonely and are looking for someone to date because the girls here are stuck up and go to universities.
Thumbs up if he missed the best thing in Seattle OF ALL TIME! DICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE DRIVE-IN!

Does Portland have a symbol and attraction such as the Space Needle?...
ktible 2 years ago
Does Portland have 4 million people in its metro? With the name Portland, your town has a lousy port that doesn't measure against the Port of Seattle. You can think what you want Jarek4 but the majority of the world recognizes Seattle as a global world-class city and they will agree that Portland is Seattle's little sister.
ktible 2 years ago
lmao, you're a fucking idiot.
Jarek4 2 years ago
I'm talking about the Consolodiated Metropolitan Area. Portland sucks mad donkey balls!
ktible 2 years ago
I just need to rip into you here. LMAO SEATTLE SPORTS SUCK! Your seahawks made it to the superbowl ONCE and lost horribly. The mariners are doing jack shit. The sonics sucked so bad they aren't even a team anymore and were moved which is pathetic. What has portland done? Blazers are top in the west right now and won more than the sonics. We have two pac 10 college football teams. The best college baseball team. Your sports sucks and can't compete with portland's. Don't even try to argue that
Jarek4 2 years ago
You idiot, at least Seattle can say it has hosted Major League Baseball and been to the Superbowl. Plus the two Pac 10 teams you are referring to are in Eugene and Corvalis, which are NOT in Portland! Whereas, the University of Washington is in the city of Seattle. You have 1 major league team, that's pathetic.
ktible 2 years ago
good god you're an idiot.
Jarek4 2 years ago
Haha your arguments are moot at best. Water activities? Zoos? College student bodies? Does that really make a city great? Bitch please. You're the douche bag who was originally bashing on Seattle on this video in the first place so don't expect no reaction. Seattle has put the Pacific Northwest on the map so your resentment and hatred towards Seattle makes you look silly. If you love Portland so much go post a video about why it's so great.
ktible 2 years ago
first off I didn't say I hated seattle. I said no one knows of portland because seattle undermines us for no reason and steals all the money. Secondly, I said we have better colleges, better sports, can do any sports, better zoos, better aquariums, better food having the best culinary arts institutes, better everything. THAT makes a great city
Jarek4 2 years ago
You've probably never been to portland. So let's see. Portland has so much more to do around it. Florence dunes some of the best in the country for sandboarding and dube buggies, best snowboarding in the country, better surfing, white water rafting, windsurfing capitol of the world, best hang gliding, MORE forest in oregon than wa which is sad, a better aquarium your's sucks so bad, better zoo, dew action sports tour, there are so many more things here. Again, you're a fucktard
