  • I'm about to move to Seattle. I've heard good things about it, I just like how it rains a lot

  • @lockergnome

    Though it rains alot.

  • My cusin and I will travel to Seattle and stay there for a week in august. I really fell in love with the city after looking at pics of it. We will probably go the Boeing place, attend a Storm basketball game, check out the nature around town, find a place with great view of downtown and maybe go on a whale watch if possible. Really looking forward to visiting this great city.

  • @noonevincecarterfan Storm games are the best

  • I wanna come home /cry

  • Seattle is beautiful, all though it is rural, it is the most beautiful city ive traveled to, you get an amazing vibe there, the people are peaceful. Most are stoners, and it is honestly full of friendly people.

  • Paseo Caribbean Restaruant, pork or chicken sandwich!

    Go to Dick's Burgers

  • Gasworks all the way

  • @MrDrummer5150 Read my comment about Seattle and you'll change your mind about moving there. Don't make the mistake I made. I wasted a year of my life there.

  • I went to Seattle and lived there for one year and moved out as fast as I could. The people, especially white people (I'm white) are socially dysfunctional. You don't have friends. You have cliques. They are passive aggressive and they hate Christians. The fake politeness and backtalking is rampant. It is impossible to get along with a native Washingtonian. The cold impersonal behavior wears you out. They have ugly personalities. They make selfishness a virtue. They're the living dead.

  • @lomertamahon1 is it true?

I just came to Seattle few months ago, and I feel like... this city is somewhat cold.. not so friendly..

    I dunno why XD

  • @ksm8368 I've been happy living in the South, in California and in the Northeast. When I lived in Seattle, it was a nightmare. Those people aren't normal. They're too fake and malicious. The Seattle Times actually had articles on the front page addressing it. They never warm up to you. And they are likely to talk behind your back. They're the worse liars. It sounds aweful to say, but they're subhuman. I don't think it a coincidence nearly all serial killers come from the Northwest.

  • You can find many free videos about Seattle at seattle dot vi

  • Go to a sounders match, seating being expaned to over 40,000 this year

  • your video sucks. Why don't you show us what you're talking about...

  • @vermie07 This video is great. Just pause it and google everything. I'm heading to seattle next month and this really helped.

  • your video sucks. Why don't you show us what you're talking about

  • im from seattle i lived here all my 14 years and i barely know the city

  • ROLF.

  • Why is everyone fighting whether Portland or Seattle, is "better'? I'm from a small town outside of Portland, and I love Oregon, and Portland, but i've been to Seattle, and I love it too. When i'm older I want to live in Portland or Seattle. (I'm 13)

  • Comment removed

  • @SecularTechnology Clearly your highly immature, and let you assume that your opinion dominates actual facts. Good day, sir.

  • @Dugger1997

    Thanks.

  • @Dugger1997 #1 thing to do in seattle - buy a plane ticket to a real city

  • Do you like grunge?

  • @HardcoreGamer4Ever I'm asking because Seattle is the birthplace of grunge.

  • ONE WORD

    HEMPFEST

  • @axllovesslash barter faire????

  • You forgot Kurt Cobain's house....it's pretty important...many people go to Seattle just to see it....

  • Seattle is great. If you have a good social life, the cloudy days do not bother you at all. The music scene here is absolutely excellent. Summers are second to none. Bellevue, Redmond, etc., are great to live in, or parts of Seattle. I have been all over the US and in this day and age, the nicest city people are here. I was gone for ten years and am back for one year. There is much to do, lots of free music concerts, like classic rock, festivals, and fairs and most people here are not prejudice.

  • It seems like this guy raves about seattle, but made fun of portland. Just seems this way kinda.

  • What about the GRUNGE?!

  • Seattle is depressing. For most people suicide is in their top ten list

  • @bong420asu how is it depressing?

  • @bong420asu no suicide is in your top ten list aint shit boring about seattle

  • I've always wanted to live in Seattle. Just may be going there to visit someday.

  • go 2 tha bite....bite of seattle- rides, music, food, people, and plenty of action boo

  • @mzladyjae007 probably beats the bite of Oregon anyhow.

  • @MrRuigni i dunno i aint neva been. but since its my home and i noe a whole bunch of ppl who be there i would say its koo

  • u like the rain ?

  • i'm surprised you didnt mention the weed. shouldve been everything on that list +the weed. well, couldnt really blame star trek sex doll humping geek. peace!

  • Top thing to do in Seattle : have the luck to meet Chris Pirillo somewhere

  • Argosy tours far outweigh the Ducks! Ah, you forgot the Underground tour, is awesome! And the Locks, where the salmon go up the steps...beautiful :)

  • space needle?

and the northwest trek it awesome you go on this like bus and they take you on the route awesome animals buffalo, deer, elk, etc.

  • Ok, good video and all. but i'm 21 and i'm moving to seattle, what is there fun to do? like partying wise, clubbing, bar hopping, night life, etc. How are the mary j laws up there?

  • @plaiss07 There's a serious amount of nightlife in Seattle. Us Portland kids go up there to party for the big ones. (:

  • @luckyyem22 Is there an electronic music scene in Seattle? Rave parties?

  • I lived there. I miss it.

  • Seattle is just awsome.

    i lived there.

  • Is it more affordable to live around Seattle instead? How's it like living in Everett? Is it close to Seattle?

  • @cleberinthearea you dont want to live in Everett.

  • @AnexsiaAi How about edmonds or Renton?

  • @cleberinthearea I lived in Renton... I loved it compared to Okeechobee florida lol

  • @cleberinthearea Edmonds over Renton

  • @AnexsiaAi Why? Isn't Renton closer to the largest mall in Washington? The Southcenter mall? Isn't Renton in between Seattle and Tacoma (second largest city in Washington? Why is Edmond area better than renton?

  • I'll be sure to check some of that stuff out. I'm going to Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle in September can't wait!!

  • YOU FORGOT THE VERA PROJECT!!!!

  • The underground tour at Pioneer Square is a very great and interesting historical tour.

  • @Tyrtle12 -- If you're black, Seattle is not the right place for you. Trust me. Lived there TOO long and it's full of passive-agressive white people ... and all other colors too. I'm white from Maryland and I'm blacker than the blackest person in Seattle. And unlike the many, many people in Seattle, I actually talk to and socialize with black people (and other races!). Please, I'm truly trying to help you out.

  • I'm planning on moving to seattle :)

  • My whole family drove from Portland to Seattle, takes about 4 hours, and saw Bruce & Brandon Lee's graves, both were awesome. Yes, we were respectful to the grounds. It's worth seeing.

Annnd we went up the Space needle. It's pretty pricey but very cool :) They have like a starbucks up there, lol.

  • you left out that jimi hendrix's grave is in the same place as bruce lee's is!

  • @celiinaaa94

It isn't. Bruce Lee is at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle. Jimi Hendrix is at Greenwood Cemetery in Renton.

  • @Th3UnionFor3v3r yeah that's actually right. thanks for correcting me.

  • 0:26 Just like a girl, acts all tough and cool and then asks a man for help. xD

  • how diverse is seattle? what would your suggestion or advice be for african americans looking to move to seattle?

  • Flying Fish at Pike Place, a ride up the Space Needle is totally worth it, as is the rest of the Science Center (right next to the Space Needle and EMP). If you are there in the summer, try and hit Folklife. The Arboretum is pretty. Greenlake definitely. Do the paddle boats. Alki Beach if it is nice out. Hit up Fremont, and there is also the Waiting for the Interurban, not just the Troll.

  • This guy doesn't know what he's talking about...

  • I just went on the Ride the ducks today. we just moved here about a month ago. and figured it would be fun for the whole family.. it was lots of fun. all the people even wave at you. the other i have done a long time ago is the space needle.. oh ya that is fun. Green lake is pretty.

  • Of all these suggestions, which are free?

  • i have to say that northgate seattle is the best place ever

  • Ummm triple X is not the last root beer drive in america. I don't know where you got that information from. Umm there is like 10 of them in michigan. I lived in Seattle for A LONG time and moved out here 2 years ago... btw you barley talked about bumpershoots, the space needle sucks for the locals but people visiting think it's awesome.... just plain riding the ferry's are really neat sometimes... there was alot of cool stuff you didn't mention at all... but oh well i guess it's your top 10 dude

  • I live in Seattle

  • Cmon Chris, you didn't see the opening for thousands of awful jokes on "you is trollin' " after you said the troll was number one?

  • Just so you know, it is also worth seeing Brandon Lee's grave. He's buried right next to his father, Bruce. Both were wonderful and amazing.

  • i cant believe he didnt say the space needle or the bubble gum wall i was just there 2 days ago and he had missed alot of cool things.

  • The space needle is more fun to look at than to go on to be honest.

  • I hate the weather here in seattle washington, but I love the city and the people and I also met my wife here

  • OMG this video was taken on my birthday xD

    i live in seattle

i love it lived here all my life o-o

  • i live here

  • hi i am just curious i am coming to seattle on my own

could someone tell me which suburbs i should avoid and

what places i should to do list.

  • Go to Bellevue if you have the money

  • i cant belive the space needle is not on there it is amazing when you are at the top man u gotta go

  • I'm from PA originally and I'm moving to seattle in January. I've been there 5 times already to visit this year. I LOVE it there! The best city i've ever been to. I can see why so many people love it there.

  • xxx rootbeer is awesome

  • damn i havent been to downtown in a while. i almost forgot what was in this city. i hate living in kent

  • Dicks burgers is beast!

  • 1. Market 2. Alki 3. Lincoln Park (W. Seattle) 4. Magnussen Park 5. if you MUST ride the duck, do the Lake Union tour. 6. Jesus god, there is NOTHING worthwhile about the goddamned "OMG!!! 1st StarbucksLOL!!!" except that really cool street performers play outside there sometimes. 7. MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND INDUSTRY!! GO SEE WHILE YOU STILL CAN! (also, check out the trail) 8. Arboretum. 9. I don't care what anyone says, the monorail is still fun. 10. Go bar hopping in belltown & pioneer square

  • As a member of portland oregon just 3 hours south. I hate seattle. Portland rarely gets ANYTHING because seatlle is so close. c'mon we have 2,700,000 people living here and a lot of people don't even know where portland is

  • boo portland. come to seattle

  • What's wrong with having jobs and wealth? Portland sucks!

  • you're a fucktard. Portland is a small business state with plenty of large businesses as well. Did you forget about this little business called NIKE!? do some research

  • Wow one company? Have you heard of Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks, Costco, Amazon, Real Networks, Paccar, Nordstrom, or Expedia. So shut the fuck up you Portland douche bag!

  • Maybe with the exception of public transportation, strip clubs, and microbreweries Seattle blows Portland away in every possible category! Nuff said.

  • you fucking idiot, do your research and watch more than just prillo's videos because clearly that's all you're doing. Did you forget about energy sources, better water, better traffic, better sports. Man that's a big one. Seattle sucks, I mean they suck so bad for sports you even LOST your sonics. Yet, our blazers are top in the west. Oh yes, oregon is amazing for small business, Seattle is horrible for small business. Look up big business here though. You're an idiot. Portland is better

  • Don't even try to say Portland has better sports than Seattle. We still have the NFL and MLB which blows the NBA away. And Mr. Paul Allen, a Seattle-native, and the owner of your Blazers could easily move the Blazers to Seattle if he wanted to so shut the fuck up! Does Portland have an MLB stadium like Safeco Field or an NFL venue like Qwest Field?...

  • Has Portland hosted the World's Fair, Goodwill Games, or the World Trade Meetings? Has Portland had any music artists like Jimmy Hendrix, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Sir Mix-a-lot? Does Portland have a building that rises over 600 feet? Cuz in Seattle our tallest building, the Columbia Center is just under 1000 feet. Does Portland have a symbol and attraction such as the Space Needle?...

  • Does Portland have 4 million people in its metro? With the name Portland, your town has a lousy port that doesn't measure against the Port of Seattle. You can think what you want Jarek4 but the majority of the world recognizes Seattle as a global world-class city and they will agree that Portland is Seattle's little sister.

  • lmao, you're a fucking idiot. Seattle metro area's population is 3,344,813 not 4 mil and portland is 3 mil. Sure got a big lead on us there. Portland came before seattle, our port goes through the columbia gorge which is harder to traverse then the puget sound. Only reason seattle got big to begin with. Portland AND seattle is house to LOTS of music.

  • I'm talking about the Consolodiated Metropolitan Area. Portland sucks mad donkey balls!

  • I just need to rip into you here. LMAO SEATTLE SPORTS SUCK! Your seahawks made it to the superbowl ONCE and lost horribly. The mariners are doing jack shit. The sonics sucked so bad they aren't even a team anymore and were moved which is pathetic. What has portland done? Blazers are top in the west right now and won more than the sonics. We have two pac 10 college football teams. The best college baseball team. Your sports sucks and can't compete with portland's. Don't even try to argue that

  • You idiot, at least Seattle can say it has hosted Major League Baseball and been to the Superbowl. Plus the two Pac 10 teams you are referring to are in Eugene and Corvalis, which are NOT in Portland! Whereas, the University of Washington is in the city of Seattle. You have 1 major league team, that's pathetic.

  • good god you're an idiot. Corvalis and eugene aer only 1-2 hours away and are close enough. Also we have PSU. The most diverse college in the country when it comes to student body. Which is another thing you can't compete with. Our colleges. Especially when it comes to ohsu. Oh, also. The events I mentioned are fucking a million times better than something set up and only happens a few times. You can do these whenever you want. Just get over it. seattle is over rated

  • Haha your arguments are moot at best. Water activities? Zoos? College student bodies? Does that really make a city great? Bitch please. You're the douche bag who was originally bashing on Seattle on this video in the first place so don't expect no reaction. Seattle has put the Pacific Northwest on the map so your resentment and hatred towards Seattle makes you look silly. If you love Portland so much go post a video about why it's so great.

  • first off I didn't say I hated seattle. I said no one knows of portland because seattle undermines us for no reason and steals all the money. Secondly, I said we have better colleges, better sports, can do any sports, better zoos, better aquariums, better food having the best culinary arts institutes, better everything. THAT makes a great city

  • You've probably never been to portland. So let's see. Portland has so much more to do around it. Florence dunes some of the best in the country for sandboarding and dube buggies, best snowboarding in the country, better surfing, white water rafting, windsurfing capitol of the world, best hang gliding, MORE forest in oregon than wa which is sad, a better aquarium your's sucks so bad, better zoo, dew action sports tour, there are so many more things here. Again, you're a fucktard

  • No I even double checked Owatonna, Minnesota

  • Owl city has a song called "hello seattle" but they are actually from Minnesota
