They made PvP gear raid worthy. This game failed the hardcore raiders. Full T8 pvp gear assured warriors a spot in HK runs and left the people who earned there raid gear, actually raiding a seat on the bench. I loved this game up until I realized there epic fail to the raiders. So basically don't do any raiding and just PvP till you have T8 gear and then run HK, EPIC FAIL.

Iv played most mmo's and this is by far my favorite. Quests are better, pvp and dungeons are better, and players help each other more. I found wow to be to kiddy like. And no one helps each other much on there. I strongly recommend rift to anyone that hasn't tryed it yet. I'll leave a post later with my server and character name and I'll glady help anyone out and invite to guild. Little things like dyeing your armour different colors, better graphics and amazing land scapes really do make this

There's still nothing to do at level 50, even after 1.5 patch, once you get all the best gear. Adding new difficulty level of boring dungeons is not going to make them less boring. Adding new warfront to the list of already pointless warfronts is not going to make them less pointless. Why does your graphics engine still does not support more then 30 people in one spot? Adding more pve content to already pointless game won't save you. ( I agree with you )

your well beyond a minority in that regards, open world pvp is going well, and is strong, pvp rifts are a good start with that (one of the best open world pvp ive seen)

once you get to the end of any game, do everything there is to do, get all the gear/loot/ranks etc then yes..there is nothing to do till they add more

@TheNzFox Not really, most of the people that already quit the game got to the end, saw there's nothing to do there and unsubscribed. If you're talking about a casual gamers that just happen to drop by once a week for 2 hours then yes, of course, i'm well ahead of them and also they won't ever reach the end game with that speed.

PVP rifts are the worst idea for pvp ever, they allow each fraction to do them unobstructed in two different zones at the same time and get all the rewards for free.

Not to mention that if you expect new content being introduced every now and then that means new content is the only thing that keeps people interested. And that means the game is boring.

What about the other things I mentioned? Disastrous graphics engine? Castles? Sieges?

I am GM for a raiding guild in RIfts. I can honestly say that Rifts for most of my members is a stepping stone to other games that have not come out yet.

Being an EX EQ-EQ2 player , I am not that excited about the AA. Its another way to raise the level cap without having to add content. 50 will no longer be the max level. It will become 50 with X amount of AA.

I turned 50 last week and am doing some t2 content. I have found that Rift t2 has been easier than WOW heroics. I am looking forward to the master dungeons and being able to run a dungeon with me and a couple of guildies will be great. Tanks have been hard to come by so far and this will help. Some times I like to play alone so this will be good. Not to put WOW down because it gave great times but having such an updated game with the raid rifts and crafting rifts there is so much more to do.

I also played WoW (I know..) for a few years before starting here at Rift and I have to say, I absolutely love this game. WoW is a good game but other than the fact that it was destroyed by arenas and an embarassing community of "Lawlz u got ownedz" kids, it's just too old, boring and ugly in terms of graphics. The point is, I am very excited for 1.5. Long live Rift!

I dont care what wow players have to say about rift, the game truly is incredible, as the new dawn of dynamic game play mmos approach so does the fall of wow, with this game being the second most subbed in the west thumbs this up if you too believe that when wow falls rift will be on top and wont make the same mistakes blizzard has because rift players have one thing wow players don't. A work ethic , willingness to work for their gear and progress at endgame. We are the future for mmos!

This patch worries me because I don't think the game needs to cater to the casual crowd by offering raid teir equipment for non raid content. This seems to what we're leading up to. Rift already provides raid quality loot that is easier to obtain than the actual raid loot via it's pvp reward system.Just seems like all the hours and hard work I've put into the game for the last 4 months is going down the toilet in one patch.

@proudmonkey1980 as always, raiders want the whole game to revolve around raiding. not everyone is interested in raiding, and if that is all a game has it will no longer survive. there is no reason high end pvp gear should be weaker than raid gear, it takes just as much effort to obtain.

This is why Rift just keeps on getting better and better. Just love how the game always has something sneaking around the corner towards you! Lore plays a huge part for me in mmo's and well the idea for the more casual player being able to see current raid content without being able hardcore, instead in a 3man instance just blows me away. This game has been evolving since release and with Trion's view on constantly releasing content and the willingness to listen to the player base the sky seems to be the limit for Rift.
