Were you just having a bad day and felt like spewing garbage on my comments page? You comment is presumptuous, sarcastic and rude. My 1st grade son watches very little TV (1 hr every 2-3 days), excels at school (identified as gifted by his teacher), is thoughtful and creative. Intellectually, his mother holds a PhD in physics. 2 out of 4 grandparents also hold PhDs. He will not fall far from the tree.
