I disliked this simply because of the title. I never saw anything like, Aladdin, Disney's first Indian princess, or Pocahontas, Disney's first Native American princess, or Mulan, Disney's first Chinese princess! Color and race is so important to some people. I have seen this movie twice in the theatres, and countless times at home. Does it matter I am a white girl from the north? No, I like her attitude and morals, she's a beautiful strong princess.

Read about kenneth and mamie clark's doll experiment. In this test black children were asked to pick the better doll -the white one or the black one and most of the black children wanted to be like the white one. they did two studies one in 1939 and one in harlem 2005 and not much has changed. maybe this movie can help change things

There's this story in my literature book about these two cities that were always at war. They would reshape their city walls into a weapon that would defeat the other's previous one. The emperor of one of the cities got his ideas from his daughter (a princess) that whispered them to him behind a curtain. That would be a great movie. I can't think of its name right now, though.

Queen, Rumpelstiltskin or Jack and the Beanstalk? There are so many fantastic fairy tales left to
