Dispite what some sites will say, you do not have to pay for anything to jailbreak or unlock your iPhone. The way to go for jailbreaking is SoftJailBreak. com they are using SoftUnlock (.) com to unlock their iPhones.

The best part is that neither of these programs cost anything!
