  • i bought this pedal awhile back and well sorry to say but its shite! but hey you got some skills there

  • My favorite song... I love you man! (No homo...)

  • @Buddy, keep it up man, all your vids rock, love the "here comes the sun" on the takamine.

  • @mandymoe26 Thanks! You have to understand, I am not offended by the comments(negative) because I don't let other people define who I am or what I am about. I never have. After all, I approve all of the comments...so I let the bad ones through along with the good ones as long as they are not personal attacks of some sort or something that would offend virtually everyone. I laugh at them! ;-) Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

  • @miraclemanagent - STFU - Buddy knows how to rock, its not because some cock like you says how it ought to be. Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you can't say something nice, then fuck up? Anyway, where's your cover if you are so shit hot?

  • I can't believe there's so many negative comments on here! So what, if the guitar set up's not spot on,[that would make you a bit of an anorak, wouldn't it? ] the playing is quite accurate, relaxed, and with good feel. A very good player.

  • Buddy, this little ego study lacks all soul and groove. What is it with really square straight people trying to play music made by stoned hippies? Even the posters on your wall weird me out. Did you smoke some weed once in 73 and then went back to being and accountant? I'm sorry but I just don't get all of these covers played poorly. They show a complete misunderstanding of how to rock. I've yet to see anyone take a song and make it into something they own. A Weak reflection of stardom........

  • Your performance just might contain the very worst guitar tone I've ever heard in my life!!!!!!

  • great playing! and btw you look like clapton himself

  • @alimoradi93 Thanks!

  • this pedal is a joke, anyway clapton don't play with this shit, exept perhaps for the promo of digitec. it's a commercial trap!

But with a correct tone, you're cover should be ok, the problem is in your head not in your finger !! lol

  • I agree with two of the "negative" critics. I don't make a habit of posting unless it's positive. However, the reverb is a little overpowering, and way too much shimmer is the tone. I know strats Jangle, but this is a little too much on the "bright" side.. Could be just a bad recording...

  • Nice cover, Buddy. Great sound coming out of that Strat too. Wonder what Badge would sound like on one of your Ric's? ;)

  • bar-chords? you can play them right?

  • You must be kidding...LOL

  • @BuddyClontz no, you must be if you cant play them

  • Seriously this doesnt even sound correct....

  • You definitely need to develop your ear if you really think that.

  • first its a different version...and second come on...you can't deny your missing the opening slides man...chords and playing are decent...but you didnt make me rock out OR Grovove...i think your ego needs development if you really don't believe three people tellin you.

  • i think it sounded really good myself

  • nice playin check out my version

  • Thanks! I'll do that.

  • Nice playing!

ahm..can you tell me where I can find the typeface of the first words. "Badge by Cream" ?! :D

  • It is a font I had on my computer from years ago...

  • Where'd you get the cream poster?

  • I bought it at Madison Square Garden when I attended the 2005 Cream Reunion Concerts in NYC. -BC

  • Always enjoy your work... Thanks for another great one!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Great sound...

  • Hi you are using the Fender Strat on a Fender Hot Rod (i have the same configuration but my fender is a Fender Strat Standard with Texas Special)

are you using the eric clapton pedal??

  • I am using a Fender Stratocaster Deluxe(USA) with A Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4-10(USA) and the crossroads Clapton Pedal. -BC

  • Where I can find tabs for this song ?

  • I don't know...because I play totally by ear. -BC

  • Great ear!

  • Great gear too!

  • the tab i have for this song isnt very good, kinda sounds similar but that looks like the proper one that your playing. ive also been trying to learn outside woman blues have you covered that?

  • NO...but I might. -BC

  • sweet

  • you made great covers dude.love to hear your covers stoned ; )

  • I don't know. Whatever strikes me next time I sit down to do some videos. We'll just have to wait and see. -BC

  • Thanks! I may do a few lessons in the future. I need to do some more Cream material. -BC

  • Excellent cover BC. Just out of curosity, is that chord you play in the verse after the D an Em7? I can't quite figure out what your doing there.

  • I think the chord you are referring to is an Em9. I had to look up what I was doing to tell you this because I play by ear...so that is the chord I think you are asking about. -BC

  • You're stiff man. Loosen up your playing a little.

  • Thanks for the tip...now why don't you show me how it's done?...LOL -BC

  • one of these times, you might run into someone better than you, that WILL show you how its done... "LOL"

    Don't get too cocky.

  • There are plenty of players out there better than me. In fact...I only play about 1-2 hours a week if that...so all things considered, I do OK. Now if I ever get time to sit down and really practice, I may turn out to be a decent player. At least that is my goal. -BC

  • no, don't get me wrong... you're really good... just don't really pay much attention to people is what i was saying basically lol.

  • Your excellent mate ive played guitar for year and taught people you hold it comfortably natural i dont see that often. ps nice strat

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Cool posters in background.

  • Thanks! Those are original Peter Max and John Van Hammersveld posters. some of them are over 40 years old now. -BC

  • Great job man! Are those the stock pickups on the deluxe?

  • Thanks! Yes these are the stock Vintage Noiseless Pickups that came with the American Deluxe. My Strat is a pre- S1 switching system model. -BC

  • awesome! i was jammin along

  • Very Good! -BC

  • Nice E.C. would be proud.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Nice job.

  • Buddy do you think Clapton played the RIF the same way twice on this song? You listen to guys like Clapton, Jimmy Page, Slash, Edge and Peter Townsend and it never sounds quite the same. I wonder if they just make it up as they go along or they just get bored with the song after so many times of playing it and do their thing.

  • Probably a little of both. I usually don't play a song the same way twice unless I am intentionally trying to reproduce a specific riff or passage in a song...like in some of these You Tube covers I've done. -BC

  • Buddy - Have you ever tried covering any Dire Straits? I'll bet you'd be excellent! Thanks for all of your videos!

  • Thanks! I've never played any of their stuff however Mark Knopfler is an excellent guitar player/musician an I've always admired his playing since first hearing "The Sultans Of Swing" on the FM Radio stations back in the late 1970's. -BC

  • i bet youve got twelve life sized dummys of eric clapton all crouded round your bed and your favourite foods cream, you have it on every meal even beans. seriously tho just been watchin a few of your vids n i have to say youve got an ear for good melody dude, likin it lots, ream are awesome!! have a look on my page got a couple of silly vids of a bit of blues

  • Thanks for watching! -BC

  • Good work on the solo there Buddy....

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Great work! I've checked out several of your videos. You can really make the guitar sing!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Now I must sing this....LOL

  • Join in...LOL -BC

  • wonderful playing...really enjoyed it..peace

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Very Nice, May I ask how long you`ve been playing.??

    Sounds terrific..

  • Thanks! I started out on the Drums 40 years ago...them moved over to guitar about 29-30 years ago and have played off and on for most of the time since. -BC

  • Great cover.

Nothing like an excellant Strat tuned just right in the hands of someone that knows what he is doing. Making Love with music.

    Very nice!

    Thank You

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Very kool i would love to see a video of all your guitar and equipment like a tour of your colection=) thankyou!

  • Thanks!...I might do a video tour eventually. -BC

  • is that the badge setting on the crossroads pedal?

  • Yes. -BC

  • Do you like the Digitech Crossroads pedal? I was thinking about getting one and I was wondering what your imput is.

    P.S- Amazing Cover!!!

  • Thanks! It's a decent pedal. I don't use it much but it has some good tones. I'd like to try out the Hendrix pedal eventually. -BC

  • The digitech one? It's a sweet one! built like a rock, too! Not the real thing, but kinda close :)

  • I's say it's a decent pedal for the money...and you can change the settings to customize your sound. -BC

  • Send me tabs please!!!

  • No Tabs! I play by ear so I don't have any. Thanks for listening. -BC

  • got it, but it will be difficult for me to play it by ear (I play only about 2 years). P.s. Great cover!

  • Thanks! Just listen to it carefully and you'll get it. It's really not that difficult. -BC

  • I would love to see a Layla cover up here. Great cover by the way. Do you do any orginal work?

  • Thanks! I might do that one eventually. Right now I am recovering from an operation on my left(fretting) hand so I am not playing anything. I do have some original material but a lot of it is unfinished. I have two of mine posted so if you look at the songs uploaded, you can find them. I play the guitars, drums, and bass on them all. -BC

  • nice finger work - but this is NOT the tone for Badge!

  • LOL -BC

  • nice tone!

  • another amazing song...good stuff. very nice

  • Thanks! -BC

  • have you done covers of any of claptons songs on his own?

  • No, not yet... -BC

  • layla is the next one then lol

  • I may do that one some time. -BC

  • Quality covers anyway mate

  • Thanks! -BC

  • great job! and can you please do more zeppelin covers?

  • Thanks! I'll do some more cover before the summer is over. I have been involved in some major home renovation projects and so my time has been booked up. Hopefully before too long.. -BC

  • I like the Fender Hot Rod DeVille. Mine is a 4-10 model(USA made). It sounds good distorted also. I use it more than my 100W Marshall Stack these days. -BC

  • nice time-keeping and relaxed rhythm, the way it should be

  • Thanks! -BC

  • You're welcome man, keep up the good playing.

  • How is the pedal?

  • I'll have to let you know after I really use it. This video is the only time I have eer used it...but I will do some more with it in the next few months. I am going to do some more Cream covers when I get time. -BC

  • Ok. Thanks!!!:)

  • behind of you is one guitar rickenbacker?

  • Yes...I have 4 Rickenbackers. Two 360-6VP's, one 360-12VP, and one 370-12VP. -BC

  • do you like the Beatles?

  • Of course I do...LOL Check out my other videos.-BC

  • i have strat and pedaland i use umm specialhandmade amp by wizard that wasmade in the mountians of cydonia and im stoned haha good playin though

  • There is some Robert Cray-like parts in your playing. Very nice! Clean playing, good timing and everything.

  • Thank You! -BC

  • ~Man that strat sounds sweet...~~

  • Thanks! -BC

  • I like the pedal. Is a good one. I'm thinkin' to ge one!!!

  • Nice job, Buddy!

    Stu

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Great playing especially on the solo... I'm just breaking myself out of rhythm guitar and into lead and I'm learning it... u made it look easy though

  • Thanks! Check out some of the other videos. -BC

  • First of all, that was very nice playing and tone. But I need some advice on amps. I'm not sure if I should get the 410 DeVille, 212 DeVille or the Fender Vibrolux. Any advice??

  • Thanks! I have no experience with the 2-12 DeVille...but I know that the 4-10 DeVille is a great sounding amp...especially for the clean tones. Two things though...it is LOUD and HEAVY! I still like this amp and use it a lot. In fact, I have two of them. Check out my covers of "Electricladyland" and some of the stuff with the Rickenbacker 12-string and you'll get another snapshot of how this amp can sound. -BC

  • The 210 is virtually the same as the 410. The 210 is enough depending on if you are going to use it for gigs or not, even then it doesn't really matter. I have a 410 and my mate has a 210. We gig in halls, clubs, pubs etc and we have more than enough power. The sound is great and neither amp breaks up because you really don't need the volume avove 4 so you aren't straining the amp.

  • have you ever tried naturally driving that amp. I have the same amp and i really wanna try it but I dont have the money to buy a hot plate. If you have one would you please post a video of you naturally overdriving it's killing me not knowing what it sounds like haha

  • I have not pushed that amp very much. I have two of them and they are LOUD...but eventually I'll get a powersoak or similar device so I can crank it and get even better tone without my ears bleeding...LOL -BC

  • Weird! You look like my brother-in-law! He plays too, but he sucks.

  • looks like clapton

  • Sounds great Although I like the S.G.s Tone Better.

  • Thanks! I need to get a Gibson SG...but the Rickenbackers keep getting in the way...LOL -BC

  • ever thoght of a les paul or a 335?

  • Yes...I have a Gibson Custom Shop Historic Les Paul Custom in the Triburst Finish. It's OK...LOL -BC

  • me too I have 1958 gibson custom shop les paul standard... haow many guitars do you have

  • me too I have 1958 gibson custom shop les paul standard... haow many guitars do you have

  • More than a dozen...and that's all I'll say!

    :-) -BC

  • You must have an understanding wife.

  • Well...not always...but most of the time. -BC

  • Hey buddy. thats great stuff man. i've got the same guitar, american deluxe strat in sunburst with maple neck. i've left the scns in mine but yours sounds like you might have swapped them. you seem to have a more vintage tone going on there

  • Thanks! My American Deluxe Strats do not have the SCN pickups with S-1 switching system. They were made earlier when Fender was putting "Vintage Noiseless Pickups" in this model of Stratocaster. I think mine are 2000(Red) and 2002(Sunburst) models. I really like the sound and feel of the American Deluxe Strats. They're keepers...LOL If you want to see the guitars up close, you can see better pictures of them on my website. Not all of my guitars are on the site yet but I'm working on it. -BC

  • That sounds realy great keep up the work! =)

  • A old hippi:P

  • Old...yes...at least getting there! Hippi...Not!...LOL Thanks for watching. -BC

  • nice one dude....love the pictures also...looks like a smoking room..!!!

  • Thanks! ...only I don't smoke...LOL -BC

  • maybe I should of said the green room..with respect...

  • LOL...Thanks for checking out the videos! Even though I don't smoke...I am sure that some of the songs I play were inspired by smoke of one sort or another...LOL -BC

  • Amazing! I just bought that pedal yesterday, I was wondering if you could share some insights on how to set it up so my guitar *Same Strat as yours!* sounds so good. Thanks!

  • Thanks. Actually, I've only used that pedal a couple of times at this point but in the directions it told where to turn the knobs to get the approximate sound that Clapton had on the recordings. If I remember correctly, it was the center position. Of course you can adjust each parameter to your own needs. -BC

  • love the art on your walls

  • Thanks...I have a pretty large collection of original posters and memorabilia from the 1960's on. You can see some of that stuff on my web site. -BC

  • This is great. Thanks!

  • Wow! Another great, unique version. Thanks.

  • Thanks for watching! -BC

  • Nice Cream rules =)

  • nice dude! great guitar, great pedal, great song!

  • oh and if possible could you maybe send me tabs?

  • Thanks! NO TABS...I play by ear... -BC

  • Oh ok, well what's the chord (if it is one) that you play at 35 to 40? I'm trying to learn this for a friend of my GM's who LOVES Cream.

  • May I ask you something?

How do you play by ear, I'd really like to know and stop relying on tabs. Thanks!

    Awesome job by the way

  • You know I wish I could explain it...but basically I listen to songs very carefully and probably differently from most people, and in general, if I can hear the parts, I can play them. I have never used TABS. I would rather listen to the song and go from there. Thanks for listening! -BC

  • goodness,i do the same-listen , find the notes,practice a wee bit...THEN,away you go!

i do believe that you've got to LEARN by reading the music(THAT comes from the violin training i suppose)....BUT the R.E.A.L. music only comes when you dont have to focus on where your fingers are supposed go - so that you are freed up to put your heart and soul into it!

  • I wish I could explain it, it kinda just happned for me. I didn't take lessons to work out by ear, it just happened. Must be my great great GM's genes in me, she played anything by ear.

  • NVM I figured it out.

  • Awesome!!! Been trying to find this song to learn! Thanx

  • ha! first comment! sweet vid, sweet song, great job. ur freaking sweet man. i just put up a video of me playing a "new school" not to long ago. my first vid. good job man.
