The fight was needed. Because before this fight Veilleux got a boarding call on Stastny. To bad the fight didn't really develop into anything good. Veilleux jumped and left his feet as he ran hard/fast into and boarded Stastny. An obvious attempt to injure. Should have been a boarding major.

lol, the Wild earned all their penalties. the only one i questioned was the Rolston that made it a 5 on 3. Other then that they were all god calls, Minnesota was out there hacking and head hunting. Veilleux could have gotten a major for that boarding on Stastny.

the shepard one was nowhere near as sever as the stastny one. shepard had his head up and guite did hit him and did get the boarding deservedly so, but stastny had his head down facing the boards and veilleux launched himself into stastny leaving his feet. like i said, both deserved penalties but veilleux's hit was more vicious and should have derserved a major. he probably would have gotten one if stastny had not gotten up right away.

im a die hard wild fan but i can admit we got way out of control. we got frustrated and took sum dumb penalties and it cost us this game. on the other side i will say that probly 3/4 of those penalties were crap and shouldnt have been called at all. like the one voros got here... he tried to step in and fight laperriere and gets the penalty. i think it couldve been called if he did step in but he did not... the refs got it under control. jaques is gonna give the wild quite the talk im bettin.

Same here, but I stopped watching after the third goal. It's not that I can't stand to see the Wild loose, but in any game like that, it just gets boring after a while.

I wasn't even aware that this many penalties had happened until I checked the website later on (Just to see if we had even scored XD) Kinda makes me wish I'd kept watching. Seemed pretty epic.
