Doesn't it make anyone curious that they're dating in real life and have to play charachters that are attracted to each other ? I mean, it certainly is weird for them to make these parallels and when there's a cut they're like "aah if I was Damon I'd kiss you in your sleep". haaha
now looking back at this scene after the mid season finale, she was right. stefan saved himself not because of her, but because of damon. he might have also saved klauses life but only because he loves damon.

I think when she's talking about Rebekah she's thinking about herself I mean....lost her mother too young....loves blindly and recklessly even if it consumes her (her and Damon look at eachother thoughtfully).....the real question is which brother she's loving.....and from the lastest episode it looks like Damon. :)
These two are meant to be together, they fit perfectly together. Theyve been slowly falling in love since season 1! its like gravity pulling them together!
I think my favortie part in those whole thing is when she turns out the light, yes it's simple, but Damon and her in the dark does just says something(also reminds me of the books) once she turns that light off, it's like she's officially inviting him to stay....she's just accepting him completely. = )

Damon & Elena are perfect for each other...no seriously, they're SO in tune w/ each other it's insane. Elena needs someone like Damon in her life, he has the ability to make her laugh or let loose in the most dire situations. Elena said near the beginning of TVD that she wanted a relationship full of passion (that is SO Damon! I don't see it with Stelena at all...). Elena is Damon's humanity since her compassion & understanding is what brought him back from the edge. They complete each other.

Definitely the BEST scene of the entire episode! Two seasons ago Elena would flip the hell out if Damon was in her room & it wouldn't be as sweet. However, I see how a lot has changed & she's even comfortable enough to fall asleep knowing Damon is there watching her! OMG! LOVE D/E!
Plus this episode (3x08) was one year after the episode when Damon for the first time watches her sleep (1x03).

I also remember reading some blog on twitter that Delena won't happen until MID season! At first I couldn't wait for them to hook up then I realized after reading a blog from Caddlymack on Twitter that it would be nice for Elena & Damon to happen WHEN STEFAN has his humanity back. I want Elena to be completely OVER Stefan b4 Delena happens. Its the right thing to do.

I think when Elena is talking about Rebekah, she also talks about Damon's love for his brother : he lost his mother too young, and his brother Stefan is the only person he still has, and he hangs on his brother by his love, like Rebekah does.
Does anyone else think that when Elena is talking about Rebekah 'loving blindly and recklessly even if it consumes her' she could also be talking about herself, but that it will refer more to how she loves Damon in the future, not just about how she loves Stefan right now? I mean, maybe she has loved Stefan blindly, but you can hardly describe SE as passionate. Also, Stefan gave up in spite of Elena wanting to fight for him, so SE don't seem reciprocal in their love.
Screw Stelena being the perfect couple! @blackdogbrown .. I have both seasons on DVD so I have seen them AAALL at least 4+ times lol not to mention watching on my iPhone on the treadmill using the CW app and some I DL'd through iTunes lol I need TVD rehab.. Haha like I said, it was probably a good thing the class I needed was full otherwise.. Lol And next semester I already planned to keep my Thursday's open!

Do you guys realize that besides this scene being the One Yr Anniversary that Damon watched her sleep, it is ALSO their First Ending to an episode ALONE!!! (They haven't had a DE ending since MMF, and I don't even count that, cuz they were in front of the locked door with Stefan inside)......this is truly their DE ending alone ever!! The show has never ended an episode with a De scene.

Damon & Elena are perfect for each other...no seriously, they're SO in tune w/ each other it's insane. Elena needs someone like Damon in her life, he has the ability to make her laugh or let loose in the most dire situations. Elena said near the beginning of TVD that she wanted a relationship full of passion (that is SO Damon! I don't see it with Stelena at all...). Elena is Damon's humanity since her compassion & understanding is what brought him back from the edge. They complete each other.

Definitely the BEST scene of the entire episode! Two seasons ago Elena would flip the hell out if Damon was in her room & it wouldn't be as sweet. However, I see how a lot has changed & she's even comfortable enough to fall asleep knowing Damon is there watching her! OMG! LOVE D/E!
Plus this episode (3x08) was one year after the episode when Damon for the first time watches her sleep (1x03).
There aren't enough words to describe how much I love Delena so I'm gonna say what I always say: LOVE DE

I also remember reading some blog on twitter that Delena won't happen until MID season! At first I couldn't wait for them to hook up then I realized after reading a blog from Caddlymack on Twitter that it would be nice for Elena & Damon to happen WHEN STEFAN has his humanity back. I want Elena to be completely OVER Stefan b4 Delena happens. Its the right thing to do.

I can't stop watching this scene,(not that I would want to)....I just LOVE how she trust him unconditionally,N she knows he would never hurt her.Regardless of her being tired,she doesn't mind that he's there.I love that 1 yr ago,he was watching her sleep,caressing her cheek,N now he's watching her sleep, while in bed with her..N it's OK..this scene really shows how close they've come,N how much closer they WILL get! I think when Elena is talking about Rebekah, she also talks about Damon's love for his brother : he lost his mother too young, and his brother Stefan is the only person he still has, and he hangs on his brother by his love, like Rebekah does.

Does anyone else think that when Elena is talking about Rebekah 'loving blindly and recklessly even if it consumes her' she could also be talking about herself, but that it will refer more to how she loves Damon in the future, not just about how she loves Stefan right now? I mean, maybe she has loved Stefan blindly, but you can hardly describe SE as passionate. Also, Stefan gave up in spite of Elena wanting to fight for him, so SE don't seem reciprocal in their love.

That's the chemistry right there. It's actually normal for her to switch salvatores, she had her fun with Stefan when she had 17 yrs old, now she's older wich makes her the right choice for Damon.
