I had writers block trying to write a resume until I looked up the definition of what all these technical words meant and now I'm writing at lightspeed
I am a short story writer and what got me in a zone right now is I am writing four different novellas and a couple short stories.
It is a bitch when it gets to the novella length size because when it is a short story it comes really fucking fast.
When doing short stories it's a bigger stretch, trying to get your point across in 2000 to 6000 words. I am crossing more into the novellette/novella range very easy. Science Fiction opens that door to doing that range more often.

I'm a writer and I've made two novels already. the other one is published but the other one is not yet published but the review was done. and now im writing short stories because i can't write long stories anymore because of this writer's block. thanks for the tip! your right man. :D
Some interesting points there Alex. But there are other reasons for a writer to become a little stuck, as I'm sure you know. Your plot, for instance, for all appearances seems to be coming along nicely when suddenly your brain hits a brick wall. You know your characters, you know the situation and you have an idea where you want the story to go, but for the life of you just can't think how the hell to get it there... Any thoughts?
