Like Marnite the XX are an acquired taste, you either love them or hate them. personally after a few listens i think this is a bloody good cover, the sound is unmistakeable XX, and refreshing that a cover version isnt a cheap rip off of the original, like so many others (apart than Florence :) ) manage to achieve

Brave of Romy and Oliver to supplant Florence's vocal for their own. Florence is relegated to the "you know it's real" bits. The XX are a clever bunch. Check out Crystalised, such a fine track, understated but with lots going on under the surface. I like this mix, but you can't beat the original.
