Your insensitive, closed minded "Hero's" opinions are ruining peaceful characters. Sounds like you guys just need to be fans of Varian & Sylvanas then.
There are characters your kind can identify with, and it's clearly NOT Jaina. Are you not smart enough to realize that if all you want is leadership, war, etc. you're going to turn Jaina into Varian Wrynn?
Just look at what that mentality did to most of the other NPCs in WotLK...
its nice to see the allys point of veiw but really the horde took out varthamas a dreadlord... allys take out an apothicary... who do you think had the tougher time?
Probably the gayest quest I've ever done so far. I'm doing it right now as I type this actually because, you know, I can't die AND don't have to fight or anything..voice acting is AWFUL too.
The problem is, most of the other humans are most at home with other aggressive types like themselves, because they know where they stand with them - in a constant struggle for supremacy.
The less-warlike, less-aggressive humans (like Jaina) are not so likely to get the respect of the majority because many Alliance soldiers regard them as weak. The Stormwind army is intolerant of weakness and believes firmly in survival of the fittest.
@TheCoolekikker this is a somewhat long chain quest in Dragonblight, which gives you the achievement Veteran of the Wrathgate, then it sends you to whatever the alliance place is in northrend. this will take you to the video here eventually

Maybe u entered the sewer during the midst of someone else's quest~ I almost did that when I entered and see no one~ so I quickly step out to make sure I get the full quest experience.

@crazywarpspeed Using the tram requires you to go through A main entrance. It's almost better to go through Stormwind's main gates because the harbor is on the complete other side, with many more guards in the way. No one cares about Exodar so I'll give you that one just as I don't care about Silvermoon being "teleportable" to (I believe)f. Every Horde city offers less resistance than their Alliance counterparts.
There was an uprising within the undercity....apothecaries etc going against sylvannas, the forsaken, scourge and living, deciding to take their anger out on everyone. sylvannas had no control over what was happening. as a player, your not involved with this particular uprising, so it fits :)

No, I'm not talking about the moon and I know thats not an addon. It's a raid icon. I'm talking about this white and red trace that the NPC's leave after them. You can see it also from the beginning of the video.

(Cont.) And so, King Varian wants to avenge his fallen Alliance and so he goes to the Undercity to kill Putress (since he didn't know Varimathras was actually behind it, assuming it was Sylvanas and the Forsaken.) At the end, Varian launches his assault on Thrall and Sylvanas, when Jaina Proudmoore steps in and ends it, because after the Horde side quest chain of Wrath Gate, Horde members go to Thrall and Jaina appears to ask what happened. Thrall and Sylvanas explain it wasn't the Horde. Savvy?
(Cont.) Thrall agrees to help Sylvanas reclaim the Undercity for the Forsaken. They enter, rough 'em up, then kill Varimathras who was trying to port his "master" back into Azeroth. Since this is mainly a Horde issue, it was only sensible for Sylvanas and Thrall to kill Varimathras. On the Alliance side, King Varian believed that the Horde (because Putress mentions the Forsaken) launched the attack, not knowing Horde also died.
First of all, a lot of you need to read up on the lore from waaay back in the day between the Alliance and Horde.
In this quest line, starting at Wrath Gate, Putress was commanded by Varimathras to betray Sylvanas and the Forsaken, and to launch his own attack at Wrath Gate. He kills both Horde and Alliance, which clearly means Putress and Varimathras weren't fighting for the Horde ("Death to the scourge, and death to the living!"). Since then, Puress and Varimathras claimed the Undercity.
I did this quest at level 74. At the part where you have to fight the apothecary and all his little experiments I actually died. I got pissed cause I didn't get to see the fight between Varian and Thrall =(
No they are not allies in this quest. After a betrayal by a renegade faction of the forsaken. Alliance decides to launch an attack Undercity for the Alliance. They go after Puttress, via sewers.
At the same time Horde decides to regain Undercity from the renegade faction, and they go after Varimathras the guy controlling the renegades and Putress via front gate.
At the end varian acts stupid again, being ignorant, he decides to declare war on the Horde and attacks Thrall.
Varian thinks THAT Thrall did this. Varian so stupid he didn't even ask why thrall and sylvanas were doing there, Thrall and Sylvanas just stopped throngs of demons coming in and stopping Varimathras' master, who could be kil'jaeden, which means end of the world! Varian just stopped a lackey, Thrall stopped the true threat. Thrall wouldn't be overcome with emotion, he would be accessing the situation, and Those weren't varian's subjects, and they died in the name of science. Think In real life.
putress had used his necromancy to make himself as powerful as varimathras thrall didnt beat varimathras' master he just stopped him from making one plan like thats impressive, and as for dying in the name of science the forsaken were torturing the captured alliance in real life this place would be shut down for such frankenstein like experiments, thrall knew what sylvanas was doing here but decided to do nothing, varian would never accept such a thing in the alliance
Putress was still and always be a minion. Varimathras was the true master of them, and he even said in the quest putress is a minion. Hah Varimathras is so much more powerful fool. Thrall foiled the master's scheme and stopped the legion coming again, by the time your lame king finished putress the master no doubtedly would come. 1.)PoW and 2. some had to be experimented, it was the only way :). In the beginning when science was young, it had to be messy to understand how to make things cleaner.
plus the horde made varian a gladiator and caused him so much grief, if varian had not done it thrall would have just varian was quicker to draw, you think in real life and imagine you saw everyone you knew being experimented on in the most painful way possible, would you kill who let it happen or just walk past not caring? thats not strength that shows no care for your subjects varian cares for his people and thrall let them die in the most perverted, sick, painful ways possible
1. Horde did not know who the hell it was, hell varian even didn't know what it was. No, varian took so freakin long to kill a minion, he wouldn't have time or energy to fight the demons, close the portals, kill varimathras. Hey if it works, when dealing with scourge or nazi. It takes sacrifices. Think you think thrall likes that, you try telling the forsaken to stop, like telling gangsta to pull their pants up. Thrall cares even more, thrall brought the horde together, even changed the orcs.

this is an anwser for zaheer firstly alliance king (forgot name) starts slacking off horde and mainly undead then he starts slacking off the orcs for making him a gladiator before he ran away and went back to stormwind and then he stars to charge thrall and everyone starts fighting then jania comes freezes eveyone (cuz shes one of the peace lovers). Also i would like to say before that i felt sorry for alliance but now screw em no one attacks thrall and slyvanas and gets away with it no one!

Varian was actually blaming the horde for whatever is happening to the alliance ( gotta see WoW comic and refer to battle of Wrathgate why he hate the horde so much ;p) and it wasnt the lich king who froze them~ it was Jaina Proudmoore putting a stop before they really start fighting coz Jaina wants both horde and alliance to be friends.
Thrall wants the Horde and the Alliance to be allies. So does Jaina, and they both have each other's faith. The truth is that war exists between the two factions because Blizzard wanted to include PvP in WoW. It's as simple as that. Let's just say that Thrall simply has no control over his people's direct actions with the alliance so, like it or not, struggles happen in alliance and horde towns or in contested territories...
Well you'd think he woulda noticed the fact that theres tons of dead demons and Forsaken around with the horde, Thrall, and Sylvanas, then just thought for a moment about why that happened lol.
Yes, yes...Thrall hasn't openly declared he wishes to annihilate the alliance from the world(s); but he hasn't been openly against Raids on Alliance settlements (Including Theramore), Exterminating Night Elves for wood, aiding the Forsaken in taking lands and resources rightfully belonging to the Alliance, and in General Actions speak louder than words...Jaina seems to have fallen for this ruse and asks we stand and get slaughtered by Orcs obviously itching for a fight!
One thing Horde and Alliance both needs wood, so yeah it may be the NE's old territory but now it isnt and, how is that the resources in Arathi are rightfully belonging of the ally? it is a contested territory and the town of horde there is bigger than the alliance one so they got there 1st so it is Horde resources.
One more thing do u think it is good then when Dwarves got to Alterac Valley and found orcs living there and then they try to take their land?
The Night Elves have suffered thousands of woes to live in ashenvale and currently fight the BL yet again to get it back, it doesn't help that the Warsong think they look good with an axe in their back...Why isn't thall Negotiating for wood? Humanity has had a claim over Arathi dating back to when the Nation of Strom rode out to aid the High Elves against the armies of Zul'Aman, The horde, however, just found and old internment camp...
Furthermore, I never said anything about Alterac Valley! From a Role-playing/Lore perspective, I really disagree with the whole affair. Getting back to Ashenvale; If the Humans of Theramore can build a City like they have on what they've found in Dustwallow, Why can't the Horde? Jaina would certainly offer the resources. Why not muster the military might and purge Ungoro crater for the wood?!?!?! Why not get the Forsaken to ship some over from Silverpine forest!?!?!?!?!
I lol'd when Jaina ported us out of Undercity when I did that quest (Had only ONE other player with me...a NE Warrior and I'm a rogue). Both of us started to attack Thrall, but got ported to Stormwind by Jaina...I found that funny for some reason. Jaina seems the only human with some sense.
Varian from that child in TBC has changed sooooooo much for Wotlk, and now he is a kick ass, yeah, he wanted yo purge the alliance for two months but everyone makes mistakes, thats why now he fights with them, not against them

No, I'm not talking about the moon and I know thats not an addon. It's a raid icon. I'm talking about this white and red trace that the NPC's leave after them. You can see it also from the beginning of the video.

(Cont.) Thrall agrees to help Sylvanas reclaim the Undercity for the Forsaken. They enter, rough 'em up, then kill Varimathras who was trying to port his "master" back into Azeroth. Since this is mainly a Horde issue, it was only sensible for Sylvanas and Thrall to kill Varimathras. On the Alliance side, King Varian believed that the Horde (because Putress mentions the Forsaken) launched the attack, not knowing Horde also died.

First of all, a lot of you need to read up on the lore from waaay back in the day between the Alliance and Horde.
In this quest line, starting at Wrath Gate, Putress was commanded by Varimathras to betray Sylvanas and the Forsaken, and to launch his own attack at Wrath Gate. He kills both Horde and Alliance, which clearly means Putress and Varimathras weren't fighting for the Horde ("Death to the scourge, and death to the living!"). Since then, Puress and Varimathras claimed the Undercity.

I did this quest at level 74. At the part where you have to fight the apothecary and all his little experiments I actually died. I got pissed cause I didn't get to see the fight between Varian and Thrall =(

No they are not allies in this quest. After a betrayal by a renegade faction of the forsaken. Alliance decides to launch an attack Undercity for the Alliance. They go after Puttress, via sewers.
At the same time Horde decides to regain Undercity from the renegade faction, and they go after Varimathras the guy controlling the renegades and Putress via front gate.
At the end varian acts stupid again, being ignorant, he decides to declare war on the Horde and attacks Thrall.

Varian thinks THAT Thrall did this. Varian so stupid he didn't even ask why thrall and sylvanas were doing there, Thrall and Sylvanas just stopped throngs of demons coming in and stopping Varimathras' master, who could be kil'jaeden, which means end of the world! Varian just stopped a lackey, Thrall stopped the true threat. Thrall wouldn't be overcome with emotion, he would be accessing the situation, and Those weren't varian's subjects, and they died in the name of science. Think In real life.

putress had used his necromancy to make himself as powerful as varimathras thrall didnt beat varimathras' master he just stopped him from making one plan like thats impressive, and as for dying in the name of science the forsaken were torturing the captured alliance in real life this place would be shut down for such frankenstein like experiments, thrall knew what sylvanas was doing here but decided to do nothing, varian would never accept such a thing in the alliance

Putress was still and always be a minion. Varimathras was the true master of them, and he even said in the quest putress is a minion. Hah Varimathras is so much more powerful fool. Thrall foiled the master's scheme and stopped the legion coming again, by the time your lame king finished putress the master no doubtedly would come. 1.)PoW and 2. some had to be experimented, it was the only way :). In the beginning when science was young, it had to be messy to understand how to make things cleaner.

plus the horde made varian a gladiator and caused him so much grief, if varian had not done it thrall would have just varian was quicker to draw, you think in real life and imagine you saw everyone you knew being experimented on in the most painful way possible, would you kill who let it happen or just walk past not caring? thats not strength that shows no care for your subjects varian cares for his people and thrall let them die in the most perverted, sick, painful ways possible

1. Horde did not know who the hell it was, hell varian even didn't know what it was. No, varian took so freakin long to kill a minion, he wouldn't have time or energy to fight the demons, close the portals, kill varimathras. Hey if it works, when dealing with scourge or nazi. It takes sacrifices. Think you think thrall likes that, you try telling the forsaken to stop, like telling gangsta to pull their pants up. Thrall cares even more, thrall brought the horde together, even changed the orcs.

Thrall is the savior, he listened to the prophet, saved the world, and the orcs. Thrall has earned the title of warchief. Where was ur king in the 2nd invasion? No crap, varimathras is a powerful dreadlord. Why the fuck would he send all leaders in? Dick move right there. Again, Puttress is a minion everyone knows that. Varimathras is more cunning and stronger. Besides we stormed it, you guys sneaked around in the sewers lol. You would do well to remember Azeroth needs the horde.

this is an anwser for zaheer firstly alliance king (forgot name) starts slacking off horde and mainly undead then he starts slacking off the orcs for making him a gladiator before he ran away and went back to stormwind and then he stars to charge thrall and everyone starts fighting then jania comes freezes eveyone (cuz shes one of the peace lovers). Also i would like to say before that i felt sorry for alliance but now screw em no one attacks thrall and slyvanas and gets away with it no one!

Varian was actually blaming the horde for whatever is happening to the alliance ( gotta see WoW comic and refer to battle of Wrathgate why he hate the horde so much ;p) and it wasnt the lich king who froze them~ it was Jaina Proudmoore putting a stop before they really start fighting coz Jaina wants both horde and alliance to be friends.

Here's the answer to the riddle:
Thrall wants the Horde and the Alliance to be allies. So does Jaina, and they both have each other's faith. The truth is that war exists between the two factions because Blizzard wanted to include PvP in WoW. It's as simple as that. Let's just say that Thrall simply has no control over his people's direct actions with the alliance so, like it or not, struggles happen in alliance and horde towns or in contested territories...

Yes, yes...Thrall hasn't openly declared he wishes to annihilate the alliance from the world(s); but he hasn't been openly against Raids on Alliance settlements (Including Theramore), Exterminating Night Elves for wood, aiding the Forsaken in taking lands and resources rightfully belonging to the Alliance, and in General Actions speak louder than words...Jaina seems to have fallen for this ruse and asks we stand and get slaughtered by Orcs obviously itching for a fight!

One thing Horde and Alliance both needs wood, so yeah it may be the NE's old territory but now it isnt and, how is that the resources in Arathi are rightfully belonging of the ally? it is a contested territory and the town of horde there is bigger than the alliance one so they got there 1st so it is Horde resources.
One more thing do u think it is good then when Dwarves got to Alterac Valley and found orcs living there and then they try to take their land?

The Night Elves have suffered thousands of woes to live in ashenvale and currently fight the BL yet again to get it back, it doesn't help that the Warsong think they look good with an axe in their back...Why isn't thall Negotiating for wood? Humanity has had a claim over Arathi dating back to when the Nation of Strom rode out to aid the High Elves against the armies of Zul'Aman, The horde, however, just found and old internment camp...

Furthermore, I never said anything about Alterac Valley! From a Role-playing/Lore perspective, I really disagree with the whole affair. Getting back to Ashenvale; If the Humans of Theramore can build a City like they have on what they've found in Dustwallow, Why can't the Horde? Jaina would certainly offer the resources. Why not muster the military might and purge Ungoro crater for the wood?!?!?! Why not get the Forsaken to ship some over from Silverpine forest!?!?!?!?!

I lol'd when Jaina ported us out of Undercity when I did that quest (Had only ONE other player with me...a NE Warrior and I'm a rogue). Both of us started to attack Thrall, but got ported to Stormwind by Jaina...I found that funny for some reason. Jaina seems the only human with some sense.

Varian from that child in TBC has changed sooooooo much for Wotlk, and now he is a kick ass, yeah, he wanted yo purge the alliance for two months but everyone makes mistakes, thats why now he fights with them, not against them
