You know Ozzy took LSD for nearly 6 or 7 months every day while he was in Black Sabbath. Read the lyrics of this song... My opinion is that this song is about his state of being after his LSD abuse, not to mention he was also into alot of alcohol, magic mushrooms, cocaine, alot of downers and uppers and things like that, which he also abused during the mid-to late 70s.

This track stands apart from all other Sabbath songs as the special moment. Take it - or even the entire album - out of their history and you have an earth shattering metal band for the ages. This album however raises them above that level that other great bands never got to - the eternal masterpiece. I love what Mike Butcher does as an engineer - especially to Tony's SG as the song goes on. Geezers bass work is genius. This is Ozzy's best vocal performance. The best work of the best band ever!
