  • Very good song but would have liked more if it were to be in the video format.

  • This was a fantastic film with Kishor Kumar and lovely Shakila and not Vyajantimala. It ran exectly for two day in our town before it was withdrawn. This particular song was picturized with Shakila in the frame. She was wearing a sarong of the type fisher women wear in many old films I have seen. Her dance was a feast for the eyes. Even after these many years, I have clear recollection of it. Ofcourse SJ music is superb. Both SJ were in the frame in one other song -a pyase dil be zubah. Superb

  • Maan ... first time I am hearing this song. Long live Shankar-jaikishan-Lata.

Thanks for posting this rare gem.

  • Beautiful. Would you be kind enough to share the remaining songs please.

  • Tnanks Mirza Ji!

  • Entire song is superbly worded. Was it by Shailedra or Hasrat ?

  • De de dil, warna hojyegi chori.........main parionki chhori......Wah wah....

  • Wow! Thank you for the song. Can't find the song any where else. Used to listed to these on Radio Cylone many many yrs ago. Are there any videos available from the movie?

  • Please upload 'Aaja raat beeti jaye' from the same film if you have.

  • There was a song by Mukash and picturised on Jaikishen himself called 'Ai pyasay dil bezuban". Do you have it?

While Jaikishen was a master composer, his singing was awful ! I have a recording of his singing "Baharo phool barsao" from "Suraj" at a M stage show in which he is totally off tune ( besura) the audience howled ! it is hilarious !

  • wow what a song heard after ages....ati sundar

  • Beautifully sung by Lata ji .

Thanks chamogaa ji fo sharing this sweet song.

    Regards.

  • A very sweet romantic song of celebration by Lataji. And you put together a beautiful collage of enchanting dance images to go with it, Mirzaji. Thanks for the post.

  • @chamogaa Vipan ji yes the song is very beautifully sung by our very very adorable Lata ji. I think the film is Begunah, with Mala Sinha and Kishore Kumar. I might be wrong. With my regards and best wishes. Sarla.

  • The heroine was Shakila, Not Mala Sinha. I was barely 10 years old.

  • Thanks Rmehtacpa ji for correct information. Who was the actor ?

    Regards. Sarla.

  • Sarlajee: Hero was Kishor Kumar and Heroine was Shakila. The duet of this film "....Din albele pyar ka mausam....kaise main karloo pyar........" was the best. And Kishor playback was given by Manna Deay. All songs of this film was hit. It was a great pitty that the movie was banned by court order and prints destroyed. It is a great solace that there are few people there with preserved gems (songs of this film) who can share. I do have the duet on tape and the Mukesh song.

  • @Rmehtacpa Thanks Rmehtacpa ji for Info. Court order was i think because the film's story was taken without permission from English film ''Knock on the wood.''

    Correct ? W.R. Sarla.

  • @jasbongy I was looking for this song (All songs of Begunah) its fabulous compose by S J I think Heroin was Vaijayantimala, at that time moovie was bend due to story match with Knock on wood, as per my memories. Thanks for upload these songs. Vipin Batavia New York.
